I remember when I fought these two in Hard mode. Jin dedicated to say menacing dialogues and do something stupid in the same turn. -"Play time is over kids. Now it's time to see the real deal." *throws grenade at Koromaru, who blocks fire*
When i played p3 for the first time and junpei said "I'LL PROTECT CHIDORI WITH MY LIFE" literally right before he got shot i said "Bro you're level 16 what the you gonna do 💀💀"
They were actually fairly difficult if you're either intentionally or unintentionally underleveled, and I was intentionally going underleveled on hard, and judging by how this guy is playing he's OVER leveled.
Nah this duo boss nearly killed me once Strega solo is ez tho lmao i literally beat jin and takaya by jumping them with a thunder reign + all out attack combo Chidori was beaten in 1 turn
@@atlasreborn7221 Not really. Their HP pool of 1500 is pitifully low by the point you fight Arcana Hanged, so they should hardly get chances to even hit you
That boss music is an absolute bop though. Also, jumped from P3 FES to P4G and one thing that’s taken me out of the game is that P4’s television announcer is very obviously played by Takaya’s voice actor. I always look forward to hearing updates about serial murder from my favourite cult leader lol
2 years late to adding a reply to this, but I think that really just adds a kind of sense of charm to the voice acting, at least in the English dubs. It’s like “Shit bro, was that Nanako’s VA I just heard!?”
There's speculation that this will be the battle theme against Strega in Persona 3 Reload: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qYdHxoxEFG4.html Ik this looks like I'm trolling, but I'm serious.
@Atlas Reborn Y'know, I actually consider even making a Hardtype mod for P3, with the Shadows being replaced by the good ol SMT demons For example, Rampage Drive would be Kin-ki, Arcana Hanged would be Belial, and Furious Gigas would be Oni And this kind of mod would also make Strega actually dangerous, by giving them both boosters to a single element (while removing Takaya's unnecessary coverage), as well as Elemental Pierce passives (allowing them to ignore resistances) And Hama and Mudo would do damage like they do in SMT IV Apocalypse and SMT V
First time I fought them I was already told that they were weak, but I was a noob and expected something more, then I took like four turns to kill them and felt incredibly disapointed, specially because I didn't get to hear the whole theme of the fight
I noticed that Ken's summoning animation is not fully shown in this version of the game. I know old games had weird censorship but it's kinda odd to censor that.
Seriously, I was disappointed that I didn’t get to see their personas because I defeated before they had a chance, junpei just easily beat them for me, JUNPEI!!
Sadly I’m probably one of the few people who somewhat struggle with this fight for a couple reasons and if anyone has any advice I’d appreciate it 1. It’s my first time actually playing a persona game aside from Q2 so it’s hard to lose the fight because I die and not everyone 2. I suck at managing what my time should be spent on so I have max stats at this point and my social links are everywhere 3. I’m not good with grinding and even when I have a good run I get crit by a random enemy or a horde shows up and spams my current persona’s weakness conveniently
@@balegda There is actually a massive use to stat boosts with Arcade, as it lets you either use that Persona for massive damage or to pass the stats to other Personas
@@Slenderquil Basically, Fusion Spells are items in P3P, and do not require their Personas to use, meaning that Thunder Call can be used without Thor or Take-Mikazuchi
PopstarChamp I know , but I was waiting for a thrilling fight to avenge Shinjiro , only to have them die on me after three Megidola or so ... the hype was not rewarded .
Can someone confirm that Jin's Fire Attack is Physical Fire dmg instead of Magical Fire dmg? Edit: Man I hate Megami Tensei's Magic-Favouritist system. Atleast exploring the world in 5 is fun.
There is no such thing as "physical fire damage" for example if you fuse Surt with Nihil, you'll get a sword called "Laevateinn" which is a 2h sword that uses fire damage instead of slash. It uses the element fire but with no SP loss, which obviously if you hit an enemy that is weak to fire with said sword, it will count as "weakness" hit. To make it not confusing, the fire attack is basically just a non-SP basic fire attack that can screw you over if you're weak to fire.
@@atlasreborn7221 Digimon: Cyber Sleuth has Physical Fire dmg. Surt in Nocturne has a Physical Fire Skill. This is a problem with Megami Tensei. Physical isn't a secondary type but a primary element, but Magic is always a secondary type. I really hate that, but it's not as bad when there's other games like D&D, where Physical doesn't exist, but there's Melee and Ranged. But they're hidden behind being called "normal", and Magic dmg is also hidden. God, this is just me going off about how much I love Digimon: Cybersleuth, but there has to be Physical Fire. I mean, the weapon Moljnor has a Electricity Attack and I want to know if in the mechanics if it's Magical Physical Electricity dmg/effect or Physical Electricity dmg/effect. Hell, it'd be easy to test. Just have -karn Spells or fight an enemy with -karn Spells.
@@FxPlotion0021 it came out after the original Persona 4, Portable is basically just a reskinned persona 4 gameplay-wise (not that that's a bad thing lol)
@@FxPlotion0021 to me I prefer FES over portable any day especially if you play it in emulator with controllable party mod, I am not a fan of exploring Iwatodai in visual novel format.
