As requested by Soki7000, here is Living With Determination Iwatodai Station Arrange Thanks for requesting! I take no credit for this song. It was written by the magnificent Mr. Shoji Meguro. Need a song extended? I gladly take requests!
tfw you realize his entire character arc's purpose is to develop the fear of death, because he finally have people he could care of and empathize with at the end
I love the how the three songs that play when the Fall approaches all compliment each other. The town's new song shows us how the public feels: totally lost within a sea of despair. It's as if we'll never see the town or anything else ever again when Nyx arrives. The 3rd school theme on the other hand shows that despite the fear, you can still find normalcy within your peers and your teachers, that even if tragedy is soon to fall (Ikutsuki's rolling in his grave) with that pun) humanity won't just mindlessly submit itself to fear. This theme on the other hand shows how certain people wouldn't simply resist fear, they will actively fight it. You and your teammates all have the strength to move forward. None of you are willing to die kneeling. You are all Living With Determination.
@@SealSlap5069 Songs are kinda meant to have meaning, chief. To give P3 credit, there is definitely some actual meaning to be found in the little things if you dig a bit deeper. Wordless storytelling, it's rare to find in most things anime-related, so it's existence is much easier to notice, and is definitely appreciated.
@@SealSlap5069 a series filled to the brim with symbolism to the point they use tarot cards in every game and you think they don’t put thought into their music?
+Lelouch Lamperouge Vi Britannia Leader of the Black Knights and 99th Emperor of Britannia: AKA Zero. Your user name. . . Is just so long. I think its going to slap me XD
Even if reaching your destination seems impossible, sometimes you just need to keep moving forward and live with all you have. I feel this song represents that well.
u literally speak my mind 😭 i love this song so much. It feels like although everything seems difficult/impossible, we must keep on trying what we can do, and keep moving forward.
I just LOVE the way they did this I mean we have the other version of Living With Determination which is a very sad theme and it makes you feel like hope is lost and THEN you have this version that is so different like THEY KNOW it might be useless to fight destiny but they are still going to do it. FUCK, MALE PROTAGONIST FEELS *Dies*
Yeah well in that case imma fight destiny! Better to go down a hero than a coward and hell who said destiny can’t be changed! Humanity has done the impossible and continues to do so and changing destiny might as well be next! I’d probably say that in that kind of situation...
It's amazing how the cast goes from being unable to make that tough decision and being scared shitless to being filled with determination to go after Nyx and fight her even if it costs their lives.
The dorm becomes the final stand for humanity. As all around the music succumbs to despair, you take the song used for any sad/death related cutscene and make it your own. Death no longer scares you, go forth to the final battle.
Not gonna lie, I just started my first playthrough of Persona 3 FES at the end of my summer and not too long ago reached December. My face just feels so heavy with the amount of tears that I can't even get out. It's so good, but just oh so sad.
What I think seperates it is just how truly REAL it is. Not literally real, but Persona reflects the human experience in a way so few other series are very able to. And that's truly cool.
*sighs* This music...just gets me every time. It was emotional before you knew what was going to happen, but after you beat the game and learn everything...hearing it just punches you in the feels.
This theme is absolutely perfect. To some, it adds a sense of gloom to the normal dorm music. To others, like me, it adds a spark of hope to the sad music of the game. To some, this is the road to the end. To others, it’s the preparation to overcome their most daunting trial yet.
This game teaches you that everyone dies eventually For yourself, make the most of your life so that eventually when you're gone, you'll leave the world without any regrets For losing the people you love, grieving is a given, but continuing to live and make the most of your life for their sake is the greatest way to honor them. Tldr; make every second count of your life count, and continue moving forward
I played this game over three years ago and am only now realizing that this uses the beat from the normal dorm music and combines it with the piano from the sad time/tragic backstory music. This is such a perfect way to portray to the player the looming sadness in the normally happy dorm and at the same time the joy and hope being around your friends brings you in this melancholy time.
Hearing this music in the last month playing the fes version, will be one of my best moments in this game and in my life, This is the best of all the games to me
Just finished P3P the other day and the main melody of this song has been popping in and out of my head all the time recently. I'm going through kind of a rough patch, so I'm hoping this is just a temporary depressive state and I'll be able to find purpose again once I overcome this.
This track is a masterpiece as it perfectly captures the ideas that the player has that you and the crew is basically fucked. But something about it feels hopeful in a way. Because that's what I believe 3 and 5 (never played 4 but I'll get around to it) is amazing at displaying. Even though you, and everyone you care about has basically no chance at survival against whatever tyrannical, borderline godlike being threatens humanity, it's better to fight with the hope of winning, rather than cower in fear and accept fate. Because you control your destiny, and leaving it to the whims of others means only sorrow. So never give up, because a happy future is on the horizon. Unless you're the protagonist otherwise you're completely fucked.
Yeah once u play Persona 4 you’ll realize that 5 ain’t as good as u thought it was after u first played it (I experienced the same and also played in that order) 3 still ended up being my favorite but 4 was amazing I really enjoyed 5s gameplay but the story and characters jus aren’t on the same level as 3 and 4
@@niyol8982 P5's gameplay is the best (obviously), but I love the friendship between the cast in P4 the most, while I love the story and MC the most in P3, P3 overall is also my favorite.
The struggle against Nyx is imo much more hopeless than against Yaldabaoth. In 5, while Yaldabaoth is certainly an intimidating foe to be reckoned with, he's still just an egomaniac on a power trip who is not unbeatable. But just the very idea of trying to fight Nyx, a being that is necessary for life itself and not even hostile by nature is just so depressing. Even if you *somehow* defied logic itself and beat her, what then? You just got rid of the concept of death itself, a cosmic force that without it, life cannot exist.
When your on your way to bomb a test but your mom promised to get you that video game regardless of what you make on the test because you saved a kitten yesterday instead of studying. (You also get to keep the kitten.)
Because the dorm is the present, the living moments with the determination to face the uncertain. The dorm is the only place where things are happening while the school and city have mostly become irrelevant. How can you have "memories" of your current determination?
@@sigurdtheblue Not to mention it's the only place left with some semblance of determination left. The other places are all filled with people simply waiting for The Fall.
Well, it’s all going down now (ikutsukis probably rolling in his grave with this pun) but seriously, times are shit rn so it does feel like the Fall is coming
(Shinjiro joining with Mitsuru on FeMC the Answer) Shinjiro: I'm ready to get back on the front lines. Just to remind you, my Persona works with physical attacks. ...... That's all. But my Persona doesn't have any weaknesses, so those Shadows won't knock me down easily. ...On the other hand, he doesn't have any resistances either. I won't be reducing any damage.
This track really gives you the feeling that you have the most important deadline of your life in a few weeks and if you fail everything will go to sht and even if you succeed nothing will really be the same
Theres was a motive why he did that............ The Anwser Explain, and people start to call Aigis Toaster and Minato/Makoto Door-Kun after the Anwser.........
Yo you should play it. If you like this song despite not having played it... PLAY IT. I swear it'll become a million times better the first time you hear this in-game.
What a feeling, hearing this song for the first time. I already liked the original an abnormal amount and hearing this just blew my mind away. I had already watched the movies so I knew what was going to happen but hearing this gave me this perfect combination of "We gotta win" and "Fuck, Makoto dies at the end".
I'm so sad that while I'm playing I got spoiled for the three most important plot points in the game (Though I'd probably be an emotional wreck if I hadn't) but now that I've reached January this song hits like a god damn truck
This starts playing on December 32nd all jokes aside I love the symbolism between the other remixs at the time and the story of this game is one of the best easily putting itself among the big three which are hollow knight mother 3 and persona 3 some of the best games I’ve played if you are having thoughts of getting this game do it it’s worth
