This game is so beautiful man. Games like this are the reason I am still a gamer even though we get DLC battle passes shoved down our throats games like Persona 3 still get made and exist. Games with such beautiful stories that I could just weep. Such a beautiful soundtrack........
I mean tbf Atlus dlc BS is pretty annoying too. But at least I can justifying buying a complete base game unlike most other AAA game companies these days.
@@ryedj707Until now, the only DLC they ever did for these games was just fan favorite/protagonist personas that weren't truly necessary. And The Answer is a special case considering it's a bonus story from an enhanced rerelease. It's been handled really badly, but it could definitely be worse...
god i remember beating the game then being taken to the main menu just to get greeted with this song and the lone evoker on a desk. I had to turn my game off and go to bed by force since it was 3 am lol
Actually fucking same, I finished the game at like 1 in the morning and basically didn't process the ending emotionally until I woke up the next morning, proceeded to fucking cry for like 10 minutes.
I was crying just at seeing the last ending cutscenes for the true ending, but seeing this made me cry even more. To think about how Makoto died for others makes me break down even more. So I was just sitting at this cutscene for 20 minutes just bawling my eyes out, trying to recover from that ending that quite literally hit me like a truck. Just to add everything together made me cry so much. I really love this game.
This actually syncs with the achievement for beating the game The achievement is called "From Shadows into Light" The very beginning of the game, the classroom was shrouded in shadow, the glow of the S.E.E.S armbands and evokers light up the silhouettes of the members of S.E.E.S's but once the game is beaten, the shadow is no longer there, in its stead is the bright light of hope of a brand new day engulfing all the darkness and the man who made it happen, his armband and evoker lays on the desk as a memorial to his sacrifice From Shadow Into Light

My only experience with the Persona 3 story is via Portable and Reload, I never played the original P3 or P3FES, I did watch someone play The Answer on RU-vid when I beat Persona 3 Portable Makoto's route on my Nintendo Switch but I'm excited to experience it myself
When you actually first start the game, the menu title has all the s.e.e.s. members on it. And once you finish the game, you only see the s.e.e.s. armband and the evoker on top of yukari's desk. Hits actually hard when you chose to romance yukari
@@suitai5860it is. But in the original title screen she’s sitting at that desk, which is where the new title screen leaves the evoker and band. That’s the “Yukaris seat” being referred to

cried at the ending, and when i didn’t think there were any more tears i could shed, i was presented with this, especially after seeing just the arm band and the evoker on the desk and the room being completely empty. they really did justice with this remake, this is how all remakes should be
They definitely did, as someone who played P3P on the switch a year prior, this remake blew me away and it taught me a crucial lesson Persona has taught me a lot like being an outcast is okay and to not be something you're not (P5) and to never accept anything at face value and to seek your own truth (P4) but this game taught me that life is precious and something that can be easily taken away just as easily it was given, that life is short and that time is precious and to spend that time enjoying life, no matter the hardships you face Life sucks big time and sometimes, it might just be easier to give up but if you persevere, if you push and ask for help when you need it, life will get easier Embrace life, never give up and use the time we have to make memories and maybe make an impact in everyone's lives, even if they don't notice it Persona 3's lesson is that life is precious and shouldn't be taken for granted or thrown away like some trash, live life and enjoy it
That would be hard as its defined in meta file on disc if you have physical copy, so they cant allow meta to be modified on the go. Sony on PS5 kind of technicly can implement ability to do it as they have system level game progress tracking, also trophies can be key condition
Wow I can feel my heart squeezing. Such a beautiful story. Persona 3 portable was my first smt game. I’m just happy I was able to live to play the remake 10 years later.
Playing the original P3Fes I fell in love with the theme of the game about death, accepting and doing what you can now in this moment. P3R took that honed it even more with your interactions amongst your friends/teammates and SL and than for me to finish the game and be greeted by this where the evokes is left to signify a moving on from the characters since they know Makoto sacrificed himself for their lives. I really sat, pondered my life and than lay in bed being lulled to sleep by this sound. Both the original and remake are in my top 5 games to love and cherish forever.
I had just stopped crying, and then when I went to the menu and this showed up I just started sobbing all over again. This hits so hard when you're done, especially with the flowers blooming and the empty desks. It's been a while since a game made me this emotional, I can't bring myself to do new game+ or uninstall the game, I think I'm still processing all of it.

For the first time , in a while, my heart feels something other than fear or anger or any negative emotion. It feels alive , like a part of me finally coming back. It only happened after I finished playing the game with my brother and watching the movies, this game, along with another game have brought out my heart to race and beat to the point I can feel my old self coming back. I eagerly wait for the answer and any new persona content. This series and this game specifically woke my heart. Thank you atlus for making such a beautiful game.
i enjoy coming back to listen to this version of the song because of the extra sound from the wind and the trees, it brings a lot of peace to it knowing that their fight was over, but they lost some close friends in the process. song really just relaxes me
At what cost? I felt that there was no good ending, not even neutral. Aigis and Makoto 😭 their connection was something that they only got to cherish in the last few days. It breaks my heart. They both deserved better.

This and Xenoblade 3 are the only two games where after the credits rolled, I cried to myself while staring at their title screens. God... Reload is a masterpiece.
I've 100% the game. I loved every second of it. I would play through the game a hundred times more, and if I could cry, I would cry for the ending every time I watched the credits roll. Again and again. Depression be damned, I would cry my heart over shinji and the protags death every day of the week

Just beat this game at like 5 am. I was spoiled by the ending long ago and I was still emotional, but right when I got back to this screen Waterfalls of tears man 😭
I remember almost tearing up when I beat FES but when I beat reload, I was crying a damn river… This game is so beautiful. Nothing has ever made me cry more than this game. I can’t wait to come back so I can play The Answer/Episode Aigis! Love this game. I need this music playing at my funeral
No joke y’all, I couldn’t even get myself to enjoy another game for a good week or two. Instead, I went back & did a whole other playthrough bc of how broken I was from the ending. Finished through more links in it & ended up even more broken than I did the first time.😂
Hopefully in Persona 6 Atlus can give a little hint about the fate of MC P3 by the Attendant in the Velvet Room. Like Margaret in P4 when she told MC P4 about her sister, Elizabeth, who was willing to leave the Velvet Room from her duties as Igor's assistant. Because she was trying to save MC P3 whose soul was currently sealing Nyx on the Moon and preventing Erebus from calling Nyx back. Because Erebus is the embodiment of the dark desires of humanity who wants death and the Fall by Nyx
Love Persona 3. Still my favourite persona game in terms of story. The ending is Peak. Can't say the same for The Answer though... I might not get episode Aigis day one since I'm really not interested with The Answer.
from what i hear, episode aigis will be a 30-40 hr journey so that's already bigger than what the og answer was+ if you get Xbox game pass ultimate before jan 31 2025, you'll be able to play the expansion pass including episode aigis for free

Best part of the expansion on Gamepass is it's free to *KEEP. NOT JUST TO PLAY.* If your Gamepass lapses but you own Persona 3 Reload at any point after, YOU STILL HAVE THE DLC.
Reopening old wounds I see. Minato should have died after sealing Nyx. That way it would have felt less empty, Door-kun from the answer is such an annoying pill to swallow. Sure with all the savior and Christianity themes leading to a resurrection might be good enough cope. Guess it was just a limitation of the times. Since both endings have the game ending on March 5th, they had to extend the Nyx gone version to match with the clueless ending.
the answer is coming out in September, im assuming they're keeping it for The Answer main menu since FES menu music is from The Answer credits, it's not anywhere in base game so it wouldn't make sense to have it now
it definitely does, imagine having no music just blue silhouettes of s.e.e.s and then after you finish the game, you're treated to this beautiful title screen which just leaves your jaw dropped
