I can’t not cry harder seeing this title screen after beating the game. I was already crying buckets but after seeing the title screen change.. i just can’t. It’s a beautiful day outside, and he is not there anymore to see it. Everyone had left, the classroom is now empty, the adventure had reached its end..

...he truly was...the most remarkable guest...

I contemplated at this screen for a solid 3 or 4 minutes after crying through the credits. I don't think I've ever experienced an ending that made me act like that. I knew the ending already, but Reload made sure it hurt ten times more.

The fact that no matter how many times you made a new game and save it in different slots to see the old title screen, you will always see this one its really sad

Seeing the class room empty, Makoto’s armband and evoker, the sound of the breezing spring wind. It just left you with a somber feeling. What a ride has it been playing this game

the death in this game trully has a soothing effect. For me it isn't a tragedy. It felt like death and sadness gently covers you.

The chair slightly pulled from the right it s such a beautiful yet sad thing to see. In Japan they use to celebrate somebody that passed away like that. It s beautiful because his things are there and they are still waiting for him to come back. Even if they know that he will never come back, so sad.

Ever since i beat this game ive been contemplating what i actually feel when i see this screen. Like it makes me cry every time i see it but i can't understand what its actually making me feel. I think it feels like the game wants you to move on as well, SEES is disbanded, your time with these characters is over, and you have to just go fourth with the memories left behind.

I didn’t cry at Makoto’s death for two reasons 1. My dumbass just thought he was sleepy from his big fight with death, and didn’t get the metaphor 2. When I did figure out he died, I was strangely content. While it is sad that he died, and that everyone is left to themselves without him, that’s the message of Persona 3. He lived life to the fullest, with amazing friends, never holding to a single regret until the very end of his life. And that’s why he welcomes death with a smile. The message of persona 3 isn’t that you should fight against death when it comes, it’s that we must live our lives to the fullest way we can, because they will end one day. That’s why the ending changed my perspective on life, like Persona 5 did when I played through that last year. Just because life ends, doesn’t mean that death should be feared. Living a happy, fulfilling life, that’s what matters. That’s what keeps us alive, and makes death easier to accept.

Worst thing about this all is the armband and evoker that's just left there, while everyone else is gone. Just thinking about all the choices he made for the future, Aigis, taking in Koromaru, the career consultation choices...its just way too tragic man

It's kinda hard to describe exactly how this title screen made me feel after finishing the game. It's this really weird, wistful feeling knowing MC accomplished his goal of protecting everyone and following through on his promise so they could see this peaceful spring day. It's very bittersweet, but that's what makes the message and general theme of this game come across to the player so perfectly. Hopeful and sentimental are probably the words to use to describe this feeling.

i swear, when i saw the title screen after the credits with kimi no kioku, I just broke and cried even more, knowing that my boy makoto will rest and everyone will move on

Atlus did not have to do this shit I swear. Sobbed like a child through the credits like i knew i would...recovered slightly when prompted to save my clear data...then another wave of complete and utter devastation when i got back to the new title. 10/10 ready to get my heart shattered again every time i open NG+ Persona 3 has been one of my favorite, if not my actual favorite, games since I played FES years and years ago. Reload was such a beautiful way to experience it again.

I remember the first time i saw the original title screen of p3 reload and thinking to myself "its looks mid asf if theres no music in the bg". And after i finished the main story, i ate my words cuz holy shit, this might be the most riskiest yet most genius and fitting title screen to a game ever. and plus it makes you contemplate over wtf just happened.

Man I was not ready for this, it caught me so off guard. The contrast between the silent night breeze in after loading it up many times for many hours to a beautiful sunny day with an ambient track and cool spring breeze it just makes you feel things.

This game will never let you forget the sacrifice you made ohh the title screen it self .that ending had me shed some tears then after the anime cutscene and this menu screen the tears came rolling out . And I’m a grown ahh man

I’m so glad that it wasn’t just me that sat and… stared. I just looked for a solid maybe 4 minutes. It’s so pretty, and peaceful. What they fought for, after all. Good game, and I can’t wait for the eventual “The Answer.” DLC.

There are very few games that have left me feeling like this.....Persona 3/Persona 3 Reload transcend what it means to be a video game and become a piece of art. I am just so happy that I was born in this time period that I got to experience this masterpiece. I will always remember this game to my last breath. Such a beautiful game.

I love persona for the weird depth it brings the whole experiment of making the player go through such a weird thing as connecting emotionally with animu pngs but fell in love with p3 because of all the recent y2k nostalgia This screen, with such great design and the sound of waves making the world feel fresh again while aware of the general sadness of it all it's just something else

I don't know why but this title screen gives me so much pain... i know the world is better now but the thought of them going their separate paths (after the answer anyway) makes my heart feel heavy for some reason.

Cherry blossoms falling and Makoto’s evoker and armband gives me the feeling like he’s done fighting and gave his life so humanity has a future with hope.

Seeing the new game plus with the sees armband and evoker and everyone gone menu feels like a bitter-sweet victory the bonds that I forged through makoto makes me feel happy and sad that everyone is safe but at the cost of makoto life persona 3 really does give you the feels makoto really is a Chad persona 3 is a awesome game for the storytelling and the feels are real

Beated the game yesterday and the ending got me crying alot especially after seeing the lyrics for memories of you but when it ended and it brought me to the beginning again I figured the menu changed...Yeah I was crying even harder after that. (This was also my first ever playthrough of persona 3 too)

I have mixed feelings. He beautifully emphasized the game’s main idea of finding a purpose to life even in the face of death, but I still wish he had lived long enough to enjoy the world he had offered his life to save, or grow old with the friends who had given him a purpose to his life. If he had to die within a year, he went out the best way possible, but after everything he did, it’s an injustice that he wasn’t able to enjoy any of it.
