Orpheus Telos is based on a Prime Persona in the 2 series. Prime Personas are basically the Mid Tier upgrades of an initial Persona. Also, I was pointed out that Orpheus Telos has a similar color scheme to Aigis.
Yeah would have been cool if the answer did have a movie adaption makoto and aigis persona would fuse to have Orpheus telos the red is the blood from makoto body and a nice grave scene to end the movie

What Orpheus Telos acts as is heavily variant from game to game. He’s the Ultimate Persona of the Male Protagonist in Q2, while his female counterpart uses Messiah. And Messiah is one of Telos’ fusion Materials. So it’s complicated.
Well this persona is about ten years old, where shiny is popular back then so that probably also why they only recolored Orpheus lol, but to me Messiah will always be the ultimate Persona for this MC
@@rickyxiak1704 Orpheus Telos is an extra addition gameplay wise much like Super/Ex Dante unlocked after beating the DMC game depending on bonus conditions. Makoto’s ultimate persona will canonically always be Messiah, atleast according to Original/Ps2 version’s credits where you can see his silhouette behind the persona.
it is cool because in a way we can use orpheus at the final lineup easier than leveling him up all the way, also because it is orpheus reborn by all the protagonist's bonds, messiah is still his ultimate persona, while orpheus telos is a way to counter the secret boss and also to show the limitless potential of the fool arcana (has no afinity restrictions for inherited skills)
I beg to differ, the main character main persona are always awesome, so having the og have this power to be on par/better than most of the late game is sick. Sad it didn't continue, izangi picaro was P5 thing yet it only appearance. I love that Orpheus here only start with one skill cause of what the Fool represents, Zero but endless potential
They nerfed Almighty magic HARD. Since they can't apply the nerfs to P5R and Izanagi-No-Okami, they went for P3R, their newest game. Also, no Almighty Amp exists either. It's sad. Also, Lucifer Blade looks fugly. The original had a beautiful crystal blade with white wings as the hilt. Also it gave +10 all stats. So even that blade got nerfed. Both aesthetically and by ability.
Slightly tuned her difficulty from the original to the remake version, but the time limit is a ton of damage before your hit with 9999 dmg with no way to survive so that’s nice at least.
So the Megidolaon that's part of Elizabeth's standard rotation doesn't instakill anymore? Makes sense since the "Infinity" fusion spell isn't available anymore so you'd have no way to avoid it.
The instakill still exist. But the difference is you need a ton of homunculus or an Enduring Soul and Endure skill to survive. OT didn't break any rules, Just Elizabeth became a bit more harder than her old she has like 2 phases to fight her and two turns. One is the typical old elizabeth with the rotation and the 2nd shits get real with ultimate spells like Nifelhein, Ragnarok etc and Megidoloan now involve. What makes it more difficult, she can "heal" not because you break the rules cuz you reached the quota of her health around... 10k I think? the half of it. Fail to reach 10k quickly will also result a megidoloan but with endure skills it shouldn't be a problem.
@@mytylbluebird7696 Homunculus doesn't block the Megidolaon, it only blocks Instant Death ailment infliction, Lizzy's Megidolaon that she did in her attack rotation would do 9999 previously, now it does normal damage so that you can play the fight without access to the invincibility skill they got rid of

Yes, she is buffed and nerfed in the same time. She now only does 9999 Megidolaon once(because there is no Invulnerable protection spell) if you manage to skip her 13000 to 10000 stage, and her attack does less damage. But her "die for me!" can not be avoided by using homunculus.
In my opinion, pairing Enduring Soul with Firm Stance might've been a good way to reduce damage taken and then maybe have Regenerate 3 to replenish what little damage you actually do take but to each their own. Everybody has their own style of persona builds and if it works for them; that's good enough.
This is the one thing i liked about 3, even though I never earned it, I really wich they had kept this concept of getting a Persona for maxing all out. In 4 and 5 it feel more like a "good job" sort of thing then any sort of reward
i managed to pull this fusion off the day before the final battle, had to sell some bloody buttons to make it happen but it was worth it; also i went the harem route with no negative consequences
It's so weird listening to this new Igor, it'll definitely take awhile to get used to And I'm glad that they kept Telos and it's absurd requirements to get in Reload Edit: it seems like the Elizabeth fight is just as hard as I remembered good, let the new players suffer
I like it. Let’s say someone plays this as their first persona game and then goes to 4, they’ll think “ok so Igor has a different voice in every game I guess” then when they get to 5 they won’t immediately realise fake Igor is fake
I just wanna know, does the Colorless Mask carry over to New Game+ in Reload? I know it doesn't in the older ones but I fucked up on Ken's link episodes and missed out on Michael which I need to make Metatron. EDIT: I started my New Game+ and it carries over. Thank God, I would've been pissed if I had to do every social link again just because I missed out on one persona to be able to fuse it.
Kinda. You have to max out every social link in one playthrough to get it, but that playthrough can be ng+. I maxed out all but aigis and came up short, so I'll try again another time
I failed to complete all social links, only Aigis was left with rank 5 by the end of the game. I started a new game plus and my social links don't carry over bruhhh, not playing a 100 hour game again just for a achievement
I don’t think I’m gonna finish all of the social links in time I’m on 1/16 and still have 4 ranks left for Bebe 3 ranks left for Mitsuru and 8 ranks left for Aigis.

Its most likely akin to tier 2 ultimate personas like in P4G and P5R. Interestingly Orpheus Telos is most likely the starter for Atlus to make tier 2 ultimate personas since its first debut was in P3F predating Royal and even Golden. The only reason why I'm not sure if Orpheus Telos is indeed the first instance is because of Eriko having 2 different ultimate personas (one for P1 and one for P2EP).
Messiah is his ultimate. Orpheus Telos is mostly just a bonus reward for getting all social links maxed out while also being a reference to Prime Personas from P2 (its Japanese name is Orpheus Modified, which is the naming scheme for Prime Personas in the original P2s in Japan).
Telos is the ultimate Perona in terms of gameplay. It resists everything which doesn't trigger Elizabeth's insta kills and can inherit any skill in the game. It exists to fight the toughest boss so it's going to be a gameplay beast.
Should also add that you need to have viewed all of Kens link episodes as well, as that unlocks Michael, which is needed for Metatron, which is needed for Telos
It is the 101st request available, you have to have completed 90% or so of every request, and have finished the kill quest for the reaper and final monad door. Then it appears and forces you to fight her solo if you bother to try.

The BGM music dlc’s, it was a preorder bonus but others can pay for one, either by getting it separately or picking up the digital premium deluxe version of the game now…but that BGM music dlc you can buy adds music from the persona 5. Where the persona 4 was exclusive for preorder. But getting extra music dlc unlocks the ability to change music.

It looks fine to me, I see that the camera work is more dynamic than usual but honestly i don't see it being that much of a difference from p5 apart from the colors simply being more vibrant
