I loved the intro. Especially the protagonist flipping through _intro songs for the other editions of Persona 3_

Persona 3 is pretty much Johne’s “Groundhog Day” at this point, perpetually trapped to let’s play the same game over and over lmao

Crazy to think last year we didnt even know this game was real and now its finally out

Theory that MC is so unphased bc he's also stuck in the P3 time loop of replaaying all the games every time a reboot/spinoff comes out

I think for this adaption, MC is written to be more sociable and less depressive

The only recast that is going to take some time for me to get used to is Yuikari. It is crazy to hear how much Tara Platt’s voice for Elizabeth has changed overtime. Was really happy to see that Grant George, Michelle Ruff, and Liam O’Brien had voice roles in the remake.

My mom’s currently in the hospital and this video was the distraction I needed while I was at work. Don’t worry she’s fine now, I didn’t have time to make a comment during work but I still wanted to express my gratitude since I was very stressed. We know now that she had an intestinal block that needed a small surgery. She’ll only need to spend a day or two in the hospital. Excited for this series!

man this gives me so much nostalgia. watched my brother play P3FES on playstation 2, then eventually played it myself while in high school. discovered this channel and have had all Persona playlists on repeat in the background when doing chores or studying in college. Man I was waiting my whole life for Johne to play Persona 3 Now on to symbolism. The 2nd card in Tarot is the Magician which is suppose to be inner potential So the reverse magician is potential that is left unfocused. The shadow design of having like a million swords and a mask without a face is suppose to symbolize that. See it has a lot of swords is it all over the place instead of together

For anyone not familiar with Japanese culture, at 19:48, it's considered very awkward if you use someone's first name when you don't know them on a very deep level. Only lovers or couples will actually use each other's first names, otherwise you'll always be using a person's last name in Japan. A Japanese person would be very surprised and feel awkward if you use their first name to address them if they gave you their full name, say in a business meeting.

So psyched for this game AND watch you play! Love Persona and seeing how much you like it too is awesome

Just completed my own playthrough a couple of days ago and now watching this brings me pure joy :)

Magician Tarot: When upward: Concentration, resourcefulness, action and creativity When reversed: Lack of concentration in its actions (resembles a blob with many hands holding a mask), ill intentions (chasing after Akihiko without thought or consequences)

It’s so funny that these high schoolers even have model guns in Japan of all places

Warning: If you played the game as a kid / teenager like me and just got it again - be careful with the "merciless" difficulty. Yes, there is a NG+ - but almost nothing carries over to the merciless difficulty. I played on merciless assuming I could carry my stuff over to merciless ng+ from merciless ng. Turns out I was wrong. I just "wasted" 104 hours by not using a guide the first time around. If you "just" wanna get all the achievements - do not make the same mistake I made. To me personally - it's like "ohhh nooo, I have to keep playing my favorite game of all times for longer now...bummer...". However that is because I am currently unemployed and have time on my hands. If that wasn't the case I'd be pretty pissed to be honest. Like, I already proved that I can beat merciless without any help. I started my first playthrough in merciless and beat it at level 97 with my Thanatos being my ultimate striker. He had Spell Master, Resist Phys, Almighty Boost as well as Almighty Amp and Morning Star (strongest almighty spell in the game) and had 3/5 stats on 99... Kind of a bummer I won't get to transfer all my hard work over. Not gonna lie. I'm "okayish" with it but...well...
