Adachi's not a playable character. We've already found out quite a lot about P4U2, since it's already out in Japan. (But just the arcade version) The only thing we barely know about is the story. But even though Adachi's not a playable character, he has something to do with that new guy (Sho)
ilovepikachu9 Just because he's not playable in the arcade version, doesn't mean he can't end up playable in the console version. Unless they specifically said he wouldn't.
ilovepikachu9 Also, Labrys, Shadow Labrys, and Elizabeth weren't originally playable in the arcade version of Arena but were added later on. So, unless they specifically said something about him not being playable at all, I really wouldn't be surprised if he ended up playable.
ilovepikachu9 In addition to what's already said, there is still a blatant blank space on the char. select screen (there were 2 in the loketest and Sho is now in one of those positions) and Adachi is seen to play a role in the story of Arcade Mode.
Karthus And Emiya assassinates magicians as he pleases. As he always has. Freelance mercenary for life. This is just his mailbox though. He finally got a familiar to be able to check email properly, and I'm just passing time on RU-vid. He's currently out. Wonder what he's doing.
Karthus Pretty sure he was on that line of work before that contract was struck, but I don't know, he made this mailbox familiar like a month ago. And I guess the vocabulary ability on this thing could use some tweaking, it keeps using the wrong words for magus and magician. Will hand him the memo.
"The explosive conclusion to Persona 4's aftermath." So that means Persona 5 with indeed be a completely new plot with a completely new cast of characters, right? If so, then thank goodness, the whole extending P3 and P4 together in a combined form has been bugging me since... well since however long ago P4A came out.
Thats fine, just leave the P3 and P4 cast out of it, or make them not related to the story, like what Soul Calibur 5 did with some of their characters.
Liger 00 Jäger The japanese trailer didn't have that, and considering this is just the japanese trailer translated,I didn't think there would be anything different...
I guess he reformed from a selfish evil bastard to a selfish evil bastard with standards . . . hopefully. Like Accelerator from Index/Railgun, but with a bit more evil and a bit less remorse.
Kisaru1000 Wild imaginings XD I kinda have a thing for reformed antagonists that still act like a murderous psychopath from time to time. Evil doesn't change, and it's their defining character trait, but even evil can use some standards . . . Frankly Adachi-baby is a lot more interesting of a character when he quits acting like a rookie all the time.
...Ok that's nice, but I really wasn't talking to you. I was asking Marvin what gave him the impression that Adachi had been reformed, because I don't remember anything ever hinting at such a thing.
Kisaru1000 oh, THAT. (this youtube layout still confounds me at times) Well . . . P4G's Hunger Rank 10 has a slightly-less-than-antagonistic letter of encouragement from Adachi sent from prison somewhere . . . though he still calls you a dumbass. At least he actually points out a glaring plothole that should point you towards the true ending, IIRC.
having a "U" start out the final word in the title of the game. oooh i really hope this comes to Wii U. i mean they've already gone to nintendo for Persona Q(which i can't wait for). so i don't see a reason for them to not put this on Wii U.
Atlus does not jump on "current gen" consoles until the middle to end of their life cycles. Shin Megami Tensei X fire emblem Being the exception since that is a collaboration with Nintendo. Atlus is all about making their games as profitable as possible. So they only release their games on platforms where they know it will make them money. Which is why since The DS and PSP came out they have primarily been a handheld developer.
Apparently, Atlus is localizing this first. Its already up for pre-order. Persona Q will probably take a while because its an Rpg, and Atlus USA will have to get and record all the voices.
3 persona games announced in one day my heart cant take it about to faint at this point. This fall man 3 persona games and an Attack on Titan game can't freaking wait.
***** Yu doesn't have a shadow. If we're talking about the guy with the red hair, we don't know who he is, and the only instance of a "shadow" having a different appearance from the original is with Aigis' in P3FES, if you want to call that a shadow. We do know that someone is behind Labrys' kidnapping and throwing her into the TV world, we just don't know who. At the same time, in Persona Q, we get 2 completely new characters. One theory is that these 3 new characters are related to Persona 5, as we haven't seen anything regarding P5's characters, just a bunch of chairs. All of the Persona games take place in the same world, and P3U seemed very much like it would be a link to a story in the future.
ATLUS, you really need to release these for PC. If it's out for Xbox, it can come out on PC, I'm sure. I really don't want to pick up a new console just to continue a story I'm already familiar with, especially if one of those consoles is owned and created by the same people behind another piece of hardware/software a majority of gamers own, a Windows PC.
***** Try being the guy playing it a sad ending with no alternatives is worse on the guy playing it, why did he had to die why couldn't he awaken a world persona as well to stop the end, i just hope that with two of them things will be different.
WTF? I didn't know the arena games continued the story from persona 4. I have to get this and the previous p4 arena now. Also, I REALLY hope that P5 is it's own story with the previous persona characters. that would be awemazing!! lol
I hope to god Yukiko keeps her Dia ability that was overpowered and renders all magic skills even SP ones incapable of inflicting damage in counters against dodges isn't effected by bursts and IT HEALS so unlike the other furious attacks it wont reduce health its even capable of blocking Elizabeth's Megldolaon No ability beats Dia
I wish this was on the Wii U. I didn't understand why this game would be on the Xbox since its least favorited console in Japan (not to mention the utter lack of Shin Megami games).
AnimeGirl4891 There are two characters in the game who look the same and have the name (Sho Minazuki). One is the sun arcana and has no persona. The other is the moon arcana and has Tsukiyomi as a persona. But neither of them is a shadow.
I don't know much about persona games but i wonder if the creators are going to put Minato(the protagonist from persona 3) on this game this time, at least as a dlc character.
Now all we need is a few cast members form Persona 1 and Persona 2, but NOT Trinity Soul. However, I wouldn’t mind an alternate skin for Yu based on Trinity Soul because, to be honest, it would look cool.
I’m in, but only if we get Nanjo, Brown, Elly, and Maki (especially because I suspect that Labrys was based on Maki because of some of the stuff in her story).
Will Yu finally face his shadow? I beat P4 and Arena. But it never really gave a good answer outside of Chie speculating to why he didn't encounter his. But yet Yosuke fights his shadow twice.
Well, P4 Arena was originaly "THE ULTIMAX IN MAYONAKA ARENA" but Altus USA probably tought the long titles where just too much? You can always change the language in the games to Japanese and hear all the fighters scream the full Japanese title on the title screen though!
"Oh man... I see u never learn" Y does everyone assume this line means Adachi is evil? That's just how he talks. He could be meaning: "oh man... I see u never learn not to stick ur noses in other people's business. Guess i have no choice but to help u out" in a kind of heroic teasing. If he came back and was evil again, it would make no sense seeing as he did turn himself in, help u get ur true ending, and they already said he wasn't in complete control of himself, only partial. Ameno Sagiri was the one controlling him. Think a little please
Seeing as Persona 4 Golden already confirmed P4A and P4A Ultimax happened we can safely say we will have the epic conclusion to the Persona 4 story. At least it wasn't hellish like P3 The Answer was
