Oh boy, "character death". The tag Cold Steel could've used lol! (I'm sorry) As someone who's played DDS, I'd like to point out the actual game isn't as dark as this. There's a couple of mildly gory cutscenes in the few few minutes and that's it, at least in the first game. The whole "cannibal" thing has a lot of the edge taken off by the fact that 1, it's all offscreen, 2, the party never devours someone in human form, only other Demon infected which means just normal SMT monsters, 3, the only devour those they kill in self-defense and anyone who actively "hunts" is a villain, 4, the gameplay is entirely bloodless. That said, I really recommend the game because it's one of the best-designed Press Turn games imo, has a really unique and interesting story, a fairly unique "Hindu-Cyberpunk" aesthetic, and great music. The main downside imo is it's 90% dungeons with random encounters and very little to break them up, so I recommend taking breaks instead of marathoning the game. I'd be interested to know what other fanfics you like.

Specifically I'm really into people exploring the queer/queer adjacent aspects of the crew, even if their interpretation is different to mine. No worries if not, because works we like can be strange and sometimes embarrassing if they're linked to your public image, but would you be willing to share your AO3 UN? If not, that's fine and dandy. I'm just really intrigued in finding more P4 fanfic recs that involve the whole cast :D a lot of good stuff is still on the old kink meme (which is where this came from too apparently haha) which never got ported over to ao3
