I feel like Bosch is leaning into the "killer" voice a bit more with this one, that most of Adachi's spoken lines in P4 were more laid-back and cheerful until they found him in the other world. Could be because by this point, everyone knows Adachi was the killer and Bosch knew that was the tone people remembered and expected from the character, could be because that's just what Adachi sounds like when he drops all pretense and talks the way he's always wanted to. Hell, maybe it's a hybrid of the two; _Adachi,_ in-character, being the one who thinks everyone sees him as the murderer, which he is, so he goes along with it and talks the way he did when he was having the most fun. Adachi remains an insanely nuanced character even during a minor, non-story-related appearance in a *dance-party spin-off.*
Johnny started to change Adachi’s voice once the P4 animation was made, because Yu (the protagonist) started to talk more and he wanted to differentiate his two voices more, since the few times Yu talked in the P4 game sounded too similar to Adachi. I personally love both voices in different ways.
@@magicalronin if i had a nickel for everytime JYB plays the protagonist and the antagonist in the same game, I'd have 2 nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.
