Persona 4 - "specialist" in the style of Persona 5

The music of the Persona series is some of my favorite stuff ever, so I thought it would be cool to reimagine a Persona 4 track as if it was a part of Persona 5's OST - Enjoy!
I produced this arrangement based on both the version of the song in the original P4 OST and the remixed version in the "Reincarnation" album, using "Life Goes On" from P5 as a base for the sound I was trying to achieve. Persona 3 fans may notice a familiar phrase somewhere in here too ;)

Holy shit this really good. You nailed the style, from the mix, to the drums, to the everything! That rhodes piano and that e-bass sold it for me. I can legit hear this in Persona 5. You’ve outdone yourself!

Guess this confirms that the bass on P5 OST is synthesised, cause your synth sounds EXACTLY the same. This is so accurate, good job

Yeah, most of the stuff is synthesised due to the fact the it uses a Rhodes piano as its main instrument. I guess it was more convenient, smoother, and easier to use a synth bass.

Nah, listen to them play the songs live at P-Sound. They use a real bass and it sounds exactly like the soundtrack. This is just a really good synth

I wish it was as easy as changing a midi file and sound font, but sadly most of the persona 4&5 tracks were recorded with real instruments At least it makes the soundtracks sound like GOD

@@Shilobotomized yeah, but i wanted at least to have a mod who change music each others, like having beneath the mask a day you go to harvest some tiny soul tomato or having when my mom was there at nanako dungeon PD: I know these pieces have been make to be in their own context, but i would like to have a "changed experience" and giving a "classy" vibe to the light hearted game.

yeah, I wish we could have more of these for Persona 4 so that A. we can end those in-universe rule breaking mods that replace Persona 4's music with Persona 5's music (in Inaba and Okina Persona 4's music plays, in Iwatodai Persona 3's music plays, in Tokyo Persona 5's Music plays) yes it's an established in-universe rule that the music is bound to their location.

Yo thanks! The bass is actually from a plugin, it's one of the clean Fender options from Spectrasonics Trilian (same bass plugin that was used in the original P5 OST afaik). btw I've been a huge fan of your vids for years dude! Was really cool to hear you on the J-Music P5 album too 🙏

Came here after your megalo cover. I already said that it was my favorite megalo cover. well - this one is even better: Your choice of instruments is perfect, you knew when to have a single instrument soloing the main melody, and when to mix them through. Your verse melodies are perfect - creative and wild, but not messy or far away. They give me vibes from so many other artists. Again, best cover I heard for this song.
