A motley crew of questionable individuals solve mysteries with a wacky animal sidekick. Sounds familiar... Recreation of the intro sequence to Persona 4 (2008) Source: • Shin Megami Tensei: Pe...
@Pourvase Source Filmmaker (often abbreviated as SFM) is a 3D computer graphics software toolset used for creating animated films, utilizing the Source game engine.[6][7] The tool, created by Valve, was used to create over 50 animated shorts for its Source games, including Team Fortress 2, the Left 4 Dead series, and Half-Life 2. On June 27, 2012, Valve released a free open beta version of the SFM to the gaming community via its Steam service.[1][2][8][9], obviously taken from wiki dont try to point it out, it takes alot of time just to animate a single minute long clip so this is pretty well made I may say so myself.
Wait, would it make more sense if solider was there instead of spy because he is scout’s dad? Oh wait... I just remembered that the dad guy in persona 4 is an uncle or something... nevermind...
So... Are the Robots the shadows? Shadow Engie: "You never really had to move that gear up! You just wanted make yourself feel more important than a glorified machine gun nest!" Engie: "No... That's not true! I'm a ninjaneer!"
Shadow Demoman: "AnY of yOu tHInk YeR beTtEr n' mE... goT AnOthEr tHinG..." Demoman: "gOnNa TakE... doWn tO... PaiN tRaIn StATioN... iN... TrAin tOWn..."
Scout is Yu, Sniper is Youske, Engineer is Chie, Medic is Yukiko, Heavy is Kanji, Pyro is Rise, Spy is Naoto, and unicorn plush is Teddie (Not knowledgeable on tf2 lore). That's hilarious. I would play it.
The fact that without even going to that point in the video, I know *exactly* what part of the song you're talking about, is kind of telling that I've played Persona 4 way too much lol
It's been almost an year now...I just wanna thank you for showing me to Persona. If it weren't for this video I don't know what I would be doing right now... This is the video wich got me into Persona, and I've been having a blast ever since, so, seriously, thank you so much for making this...
0:51 I don't know if that was intentional or not, but Adachi is represented by Scout just like Yu is, which fits into the idea that they're essentially different faces of the same coin, Yu used his power for the benefit of others, while Adachi used his for his own gain and for the suffering of people he disliked - they both gained the same power through the same method. If that was intentional, Geno has undoubtedly achieved god-tier. Also Saxton Hale Dojima is a damn nice touch.
@@jakoski I think op meant what model was used to represent Adachi, which was a scout model. That's not bidwell lol. You can tell by the shape of his chin and nose.
Okay I never played the game myself, but my dad always used to play it and he loved it. I watched him play most of the game while I was still very young and seeing this? Even I feel nostalgic here. This game’s music is amazing.
1:24 *Getting Extremely Emotional over hearing the Nostalgic Start screen from a game i poured hundreds of emotional and physical hours into From a TF2 meme of extremely good quality* You just earned a -Fsteak- Sub for this vid
That's how I feel about P3FES's title screen, and P3P. P5 has style and quality of life but nothing brings me back like P3's title screen. I will say though, playing Persona 2 gave me extreme amounts of deja vu but never really hit me.
BLU shadows: *Swoops in to attack* Sniper: Bugger, bugger, bugger!! Scout: AAGH!!!!! ???: Aye am ThouU.. Scout: Huh? ???: *More drunkenly* ThOUr aRt Aye.. Sniper: *Notices the shadows have stopped* What the, they stopped? Scout: Um... *Opens his palm and let the card fall on his hand* Sniper: Mate, what the bloody hll is that? ???: Aye haV' rIsEn, An-anD HeRe to.. hElP... Scout: How are you going to help?! and are you drunk?! ???: ShAdDuP ladDIe!! ThE tImE... Has arRIVED!! Scout: !!! *Jolts up* Per... So... Na... Okay so.. Scout - Yu and Adachi Sniper - Yosuke Engineer - Chie Medic - Yukiko Pyro - Rise Balloonicorn - Teddie Heavy - Kanji Spy - Naoto Saxton Hale - Dojima Maybe Soldier is Marie in Persona 4tress: Australium?
@@runiqe Wonder who would be the Velvet Room's- Or rather "The Barracks"' assistants then. Would they be just severed heads? Elizabeth being just a Medic head being used as a ventriloquist dummy seems like a hilarious idea.
I didn't played Persona,i heard games are great but i litteraly played TF2 fora really long time for 9,540 hours to be exact,i really miss these times when we get full gang of friends and play TF2 for 5 hours
So Scout in the holder of the Wild Card, his initial Persona is Demoknight, Miss Pauling is the Velvet Room assistant, The Announcer is Igor, Sniper is Yosuke, Engi is Chie, Medic is Yukiko, Heavy is Kanji, Pyro is Rise, Spy is Naoto, Ballonicorn is Teddie, The final cap point on cp/Dustbowl is Yasogami, people are found dead in the robot-spawning machines from MVM, the tarot Cards are keys, Scout in a Suit is Adachi, and Saxton Hale is Dojima.
Can we all just appreciate the fact that this man remade the persona 4 opening, exactly frame by frame, with Team fortress characters? The tone itself and timing of those shots were absolutely beautiful. God bless you for making this masterpiece.....
@@JayAreAitch I would agree with that if we were comparing P5 vanilla and P5 Royal, but with P4 and P4 Golden... Really? I don't see how Golden isn't better for a first experience.
Hermes for the god-based Personas and Babe Ruth for the Persona 5-style ones. Maybe Babe Ruth will become Hermes upon completing the Magician Social Link.
Okay this is a really good video, I enjoyed it. Would be cool to see P4G’s opening made like this however that would take a lot more time considering the visuals of the original opening is a lot more flashier. The title of the video could be called “Persona 4tress Australium”. All in all, good video mate.
Because I have no life I'm gonna do this. Character - Persona - Arcana Scout - Ruth (Babe Ruth, Baseball Player) - Chariot Soldier - Washington (George Washington, American General) - Emperor Pyro - Fielder (Richard Fielder, inventor of the Flamethrower) - Moon Demoman - Bates (Blaster Bates, Demolitionist) - Hanged Man Heavy - Zhukov (Georgy Zhukov, Soviet General) (probably) - Strength Engineer - Einstein (Albert Einstein, Physicist) - Magician Sniper - Hayha (Simo Hayha, Deadliest Sniper with 505 kills) - Hermit Medic - Galen (Aelius Galenus, surgeon, physician) - Devil Spy - Hassan (Hassan-i Sabbah, founder of the Order of Assassins) - Hierophant Order of party arrival: 1. Soldier 2. Demoman 3. Pyro 4. Scout 5. Spy 6. Sniper 7. Heavy 8. Medic 9. Engineer Feel free to suggest stuff, because there could probably be personas/arcanas that fit them better and just generally other things that can be added onto this. Suggestions from the replies: -Pyro's Persona (Richard Fielder) - Suggested by Renato Alvisto -Heavy's Persona (From Rasputin to Georgy Zhukov) - Suggested by NoName -Spy's Persona (From Mata Hari to Hassan-i Sabbah) - Suggested by 404waffles -Arcana Change for Pyro (From Hermit to Moon) and Sniper (From Death to Hermit)
Honestly, I think Spy could be a Wild Card. He's already familiar with imitating personalities, so I think that could transfer over well, though I think a confrontation with his Shadow would get a bit messy.
I was laughing so hard through out the entire video, BUT THEN you had to go and include the menu sequence as well! Man, this amount of effort should be illegal.
It's really amazing how one to one you got this intro down, mimicking shots and the styling of the text, there's some real work that went into this. The only minor complaint I have is the transitions during the character introductions feels a little less fluid as the original. I guess it would be difficult considering the limit in what you're working with, it would be silly to see Engie doing a spin kick. But still, fantastic work Geno, always nice to be reminded how much you can knock it out of the park with SFM sometimes.
You are correct. Persona 4 is like a game version of DiU, with the personas resembling stands. Hell, personas are basically stands as they both represent the user’s personality into physical manifestations. A mask of sorts.
A bunch of highschoolers look for the identity of the man behind the slaughter in a small town with cool ghosts that reflect their true selves. Both are also the most lighthearted entry in their series. Jokes aside, the comparisons between Persona and JoJo are pretty superficial. These two aren't really that much alike. And Personas are NOT inspired by Stands for christ's sake. They come from SMT's demons. SMT demons existed before Stands.
