I thought they changed Igor's voice actor because his voice is very different from persona 3 and 4 which i've played in the past. The twist is really amazing

I always get so sad at the end of a persona game. You get so attached to all the characters they actually feel like family. It makes me so sad the games over😭 I wish the game never ended and I wish they stopped making the mc leave everyone. Let them stay

When I first saw Goro, I was like "I don't trust his ass". Sure enough. I did get a kick out of his All-Out animation when he was briefly in the party.

Despite this being so dark and so messed up... this is the realest persona game I've played (I've been into the series since persona 2). The true ending is the most adorable band of misfits, and the bad endings are exactly why this game is rated *M*.

Making a deal with the false god is even worse than you getting killed. I mean holy crap you never got your friends out of the velvet room (I didn't do the decision so I am just assuming) so in the real world they must be considered lost or dead. I want to call this ending the 'Asshole' ending

This was my first persona game, and I didn't know anything about the other games, but right off the bat I thought Igor was evil, yet he still somehow managed to make me change my mind throughout the game, and then immediately change it again at the very end.

I like that in this game, the way to get the true ending is just to not be an asshole, no extra convoluted bullshit to follow strictly.

When I learned there were multiple endings and a "true" ending, I was worried I'd not got the best one after completing it. Glad to see I ended up with the true ending after all, although I came pretty close to selling out my friends (after all, you're told multiple times to trust Niijima and be honest with her about everything that's happened, so I was like so close to telling her that too lol).

Lavenza's design is adorable!! I especially love the butterfly wings on her headband; such a nice nod.

I feel as though there should be a Persona 5-2, now don't get me wrong,I know Atlus has done an amazing job with this game.But the ending is just.....the way he looks at us....it's like he's saying "See you guys next time"

There is no "Good" ending. There is only the True, Bad and "EVIL" ending.

*SPOILERS BELOW* Apparently, if you miss the Shido deadline, AFTER Akechi sacrifices himself, he'll still arrest you at LeBlanc. I'm surprised they overlooked it.

Gotta admire the skill with which Goro effortlessly attaches a suppressor to a pistol within like, quarter of a second, in the same motion of taking it from the policeman no less. I had to re-watch the scene because I was sure there was a plot hole there, thinking "Why would a police officer carry a suppressed pistol?".

Wow the bad ending is brutal.

I would probally describe this as (Worst/ Bad / Good Ending) personally there isn't anything good about the other ones.

Just finished the game about an hour ago with the true ending. I wanted to see how all the other endings play out. I'm glad I waited 5 years for this game. and now I'm happy that I played it. it feels like I've completed something in my life. I'll never forget this game and I'll always cherish it in my heart such as I did with Persona 4 Golden. For me, this is game of the year.

So here's my theory. You know how they change the hearts of those evil dudes? It's like stealing something fancy,but in reality;it's just changing his/her emotions and mentalness. Then,one of them was like "Hey,how about we steal something that's REALLY GOLD." And then they started stealing antiques,wealth,money and etc. But in their case,they think that it's still changing someone's heart. If you have seen the intro of Persona 5,they start with the player in a casino,being chased by guards. And fair enough,will a group of teens who want to give the world a change be in a casino being chased by guards? And if you may have noticed,they wear masks when their personas are about to break out of them. And Akira (the player) has an innocent look and voice,but by the time his persona is breaking out,he had a look that describes vengeance. Which means that before their personas break out,they're innocent,they're youngsters and have more time to life. But after they take out the masks,they get more venganous (if that's even a word),and like what I said,they change their enemies' hearts,but by the time you see the intro (in the casino),it seems that no-one in their group is like "Isn't this dangerous?".It's like they want to have change,but they can't make a change of themselves. BUT HEY,THAT'S JUST A THEORY;A GAME THEORY AAAAAAND CUT

God, i always get emotional and cry when the credits roll for the true endin. Just finished this masterpiece of a game today. Persona 5 has truly stolen my heart!

How to get the best ending ever which is the 3rd one is 1. Complete all palaces by there stated deadlines 2. Refuse to sell out your companions to nijjimi 3. Refuse to got a deal with igor There pretty simple

The song of the credits along with the memories of the year akira had in Tokyo make me tear up ;-;-; it really feels like the end of a journey. I'm gonna miss these characters

Just finished the game today and man what a bitter sweet ending. So what's the moral of the story here? Don't be a hero and save the world or the police/government will hunt you down for making them look bad? All kidding aside this was an excellent game, very refreshing to see a game these days that doesn't disappoint after the long waiting period.

Half a year ago I started my new job at a little bar. Around the same time I started playing this game. It took me 6 months to finish it. 131 hours. And now it's over... I'm happy and sad at the same time, this game means really much to me. Working at this new job is so much fun and I made a bunch of friends, that I hang out with all the time now. Holy shit, until now I didn't even realize how much I had in common with Joker all this time ;D We even have a super complicated barista machine there, that my boss had to teach me about. I'm gonna miss playing this game in the evening... Well i can honestly say that playing Persona 5 made me a happier person. I thank the developers from the bottom of my heart for this experience.

Question: If Joker fails to complete a major objective within said number of days or says the wrong thing during his interrogation and ends up getting shot dead, what would happen to the other Phantom Thieves in both the real world and the cognitions from within someone?

I'm actually really interested. Yusuke states "After we said we would disband." & after haru ask help for her friend "This better not bne any more work." I'm gonna assume yuskue didn't mind being a persona user but he was also content with ending his persona user life after and not using his powers any longer. Which makes him way more interesting than most persona uers on the level of baofu, ayase and yukari three persona users who wanted to live a normal life and wanted nothing to do with their powers afterwards. Like the shadow ops and investigation team still use theirs because they want to help people with them, yusuke and the others I mentioned would rather leave it to other persona users, as long as their friends aren't in danger. Interesting.

Can I just say something here? It feels as though the True ending is... Not entirely true. I feel like Atlus is gonna do something more in the likely remake. My evidence of my suspicions: Something Ryuji said after the credits and the reason why Shadows suddenly "Remember" that they came from the sea of the unconscious. Sure, the Final Boss or maybe the Palace Rulers somehow corrupted the Personas but... To me, it feels like there is something more, WAY more. As for the thing Ryuji said... "All this just ain't feeling real to me just yet"... It's just... That. I swear that's hinting something. Call it paranoia but... It just feels like there will be more!

I hope we get some form of after story. One that incorporates who we forged relationships with in the main game - even if they were just 20 minutes of "this is what your character is doing as an adult with their partner"

120 hours in 4 months and I finally beat this amazing game and got the true ending too! Glad to know I made the right choices.

I feel like this game should've had different endings where Joker's release from Juvie depended on the number of confidants joker had maxed. If you hadn't maxed out a certain amount (maybe only 10 or so) then Joker would need to carry out a full sentence before being released, effectively giving the player a good ending (where the world was saved but Joker sacrificed his freedom). Then the true ending would just be the same as P5's current best ending, but it would require a certain amount of maxed confidants.

The bad end seemed normal and nothing happening. However, since the protagonist contract with the Grail, people already abandon the ability of thinking and blindly trust on phantom thieves.

I have to say that the true ending is the best one compared to persona 3 and 4. Sure they are nice and all, but you always have that moment where you think. "Why don't you just stay." and I keep wanting the protag just to stay and hang out with his friends forever because well mystery parents and all. You get attached to Sojiro and Futaba. So the true ending where he seems not to go home yet is amazing as he the main character has, "The right to think for himself" and not let others tell him what to do. Plus it's assumed even if he does leave his friends have ways of getting to him. Unlike persona 4 where they wait a full fucking year to see him....

I ended up getting the true ending on hard with my first play through, clocking in at around 170 + hours but I had to see all the other endings and wow I can't believe some of them. Super happy I got the true ending first.

Okay so I pause up to the True Ending so I'm a bit confused about one thing: This part of a scene where the Phanthom Thieves fall into the shadows, the part where Modgama says we failed the mission, is that part of the True Ending or is that a different Bad End thay isn't uploaded here?
