What we get for bosses: A human lickitung A lying con artist who turns into a painting A giant metal pig with a fly A Sphinx cognition A spaceman wannabe A crazed mutant cyborg Senator Armstrong
You know you done made a banger soundtrack when you reuse the same songs over and over again in-game, and people still want to hear hour-long versions in their free-time
I switched to Arsene and got hit by two moves that he's weak to. Thankfully, Maruki's confidant gave me some SP and I was able to undo his ATK/DEF/AGI buffs w/items that I found throughout Mementos.
Whenever I listen to this, I just imagine the Phantom Thieves sprinting through a desert with rivers being created behind them, restoring life and fertility to this dead, dry wasteland.
Spoilers* Shido Fight: *Beats First Phase* Me: Man, that theme wasn't all that great, that kinda sucks. *During the next two phases* Me: *A RIVER IN A DRY LAND!!*
It's now or it's never, and I've got to Make my decision This time it could be my moment Is this a mirage or a chance to fulfill my mission? A river in a dry land The last ace in a lost hand A heartbeat for a tin man Oasis in a singed land I'm keeping my balance, but I'm standing On razor's edge now Move quick or my life is over One strike, just a feint, then I'm outta his field of vision Don't ask why I'm ready, but I'm ready to Strike him down now A chance at a new start There's no time for indecision A river in a dry land The last ace in a lost hand When the hope of new beginnings burned our feet Now we need it A heartbeat for a tin man An oasis in a singed land Remind us what we're here for Creating new life Creating rivers in the desert My heart is a furnace (It's) Hot as hell in my world of conflict One goal is what keeps me going Take back what I lost to The bosses of greed and fear, yeah* Don't ask why I'm ready but I'm ready to take Them down now The time for a new start Is constantly drawing nearer A river in a dry land The last ace in a lost hand When the hope of new beginnings burned our feet Now we need it A heartbeat for a tin man An oasis in a singed land Remind us what we're here for Creating new life Creating rivers in the desert When a cool drop of water's all I need Gotta clear my head of anger and greed A place to refresh heart and mind Can I find Some time in Rivers in a dry land The last ace in a lost hand When the hope of new beginnings burned our feet Now we need it A heartbeat for a tin man An oasis in a singed land Remind us what we're here for Creating new life Creating rivers in the desert *-Okumera and Akechi
@@christopherbravo1813 Oh, glad you asked. I starred a part of the lyrics cause the song refers to them and their role in the story. I thought it was a pretty neat, clever and subtle reference and it's for people who didn't get the reference
Lucahz the best scene abt that place is that when makoto and Ann were sweating and those three stooges just looking innocently.. the worst is ryuji hahaaha
"Awww, just look at these two! Those costumes are so adorable! Can I take them home with-- ...Wait... What...?! These power levels... Just who are these girls...?!" "W-What...?! These power levels...! These two are strong, I can tell! Joker...! Y-You wanna fight them...?! Don't underestimate these two! They're on a whole other level!"
A River in a Dry Land (P1): The river Styx is summoned to a small city with no bodies of water, causing demons to appear. The Last Ace in a Lost Hand (P2): Maya Amano is slain by Nyarlethotep, causing the cast of Innocent Sin (except Tatsuya) to give up their memories to rewind time. A Heartbeat for a Tin Man (P3): Aegis becomes a human in all but physical form. Oasis in a Singed Land (P4): Within the cruel world of man's heart, a safe haven is created.
I have to go to work every day even with the risk of the Covid-19, because my job is classified as "necessary" (i work in transport industry in Italy). Any day i have worries, fear and anxiety due to the possible risks... but any day i ear this song and inspire me courage and faith. For everybody out here who still work under the virus menace (first of all our brave medical personel), be strong, we are creating rivers in the desert right now.
*Samael collapses, struggles to his feet, resumes battle pose with a cocky grin... then his eyes roll into his head as he falls HARD* Anyone else thought he was getting up AGAIN?!
@@nankono Elizabeth is hard because it force you to not spam Armageddon on her and actually force you to fight on her terms. The twins just straight up kill you if they're bored (6 turns). Still, both of the fight is great on its own. Warden because there's two of them and Elizabeth because you need to think for once in your life to beat something
Coming from a persona game, knowing that Igor's arcana, one that automatically ranks up, wasn't maxed up to that point before Shido. Yeah, kinda saw it coming. It was still cool tho
"The animals of the field will honor Me, the jackals and the owls, because I provide water in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to My chosen people.…" -Isaiah 43:20 I love this reference. Very cool.
@@seath_the_stanless yes, but your Isiah reference reaches rather far, if you read the passage of 43:20, it says a lot more than just rivers in the desert, the concept may not be ripped from the bible, it doesnt talk about jackals or owls, or chosen people, so the reference seems weak and improbable
Anyone else think of Arches/Canyonlands/ Zions National park Utah or the Grand Canyon as the backdrop to this song instead of something like the Sahara or traditional desert?
i was about to fight margaret on p3p, but I didn't want to hear her say "NoOo" every time she got hit, so i'll just listen to this while fighting her instead
Came back to listen to this certified hood classic and God that last big 'Rivers in the Desert' at the end before the song loops back makes me ascend everytime
