Song is played for the penultimate boss fight, secret boss fight and the final boss fight. I do not own this song. Composer: Shoji Meguro. Lyrics: Benjamin Franklin Vocals: Lyn Inaizumi Image link: cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/FA98...
Oh hell yeah my dude I deadass heard this song after beating the game then went right back in. I’m currently on hour 173 of the game and I still love every moment of it
@@thefunkyfish5640 "I played college volleyball you know!" "At some cushy Ivy League school!" "TRY KYUSHU! COULDA GONE PRO IF I HADN'T JOINED THE JSDF!"
sad thing about persona 5 is after finishing it , replaying NG+ doesn't have the same magic as when you start for the first time. one of the best games of this generation ...
Everyone: Ugh, Shido was so hard! I couldn't defeat the boss, it took me like, 3-6 tries! Me: *Sweats in being severely over-leveled while infiltrating Shido's palace*
I came back in after doing the reaper flu exploit and still almost got my ass kicked while fighting shido, I think they honestly wanted you to be over leveled lmfao
@@johnseed6557 my first playthrough i fought shido a little underleveled and it was pretty easy (playing on normal for reference) i think its cause I made an op support persona though
Fight wasn’t that bad for me but I was on normal with level 67 and had some crazy OP personas... I just nuked him down with charge attack boosted god hands lol
Lyrics It's now or it's never, and I've got to Make my decision This time it could be my moment Is this a mirage or a chance to fulfill my mission? A river in a dry land The last ace in a lost hand A heartbeat for a tin man Oasis in a singed land I'm keeping the balance, but I'm standing On razor's edge now Move quick or my life is over One strike, just a feint, then ... I'm outa his field of vision Don't ask why I'm ready but I'm ready to Strike him down now A chance at a new start There's no time for indecision A river in a dry land The last ace in a lost hand When the hope of new beginnings burned our feet Now we need it: A heartbeat for a tin man An oasis in a singed land Remind us what we're here for: Creating new life Creating rivers in the desert My heart is a furnace (It's) Hot as hell in my world of conflict One goal is what keeps me going Take back what I lost to ... The bosses of greed and fear, yeah Don't ask why I'm ready but I'm ready to take Them down now The time for a new start Is constantly drawing nearer A river in a dry land The last ace in a lost hand When the hope of new beginnings burned our feet Now we need it: A heartbeat for a tin man An oasis in a singed land Remind us what we're here for: Creating new life Creating rivers in the desert When a cool drop of water's all I need Gotta clear my head of anger and greed A place to refresh heart and mind Can I find Some time in Rivers in a dry land The last ace in a lost hand When the hope of new beginnings burned our feet Now we need it: A heartbeat for a tin man An oasis in a singed land Remind us what we're here for: Creating new life Creating rivers in the desert
when you spent 2 hours despair-reaper grinding in mementos because akechis death pissed you off so much that you want to make sure shido's shadow suffers
Everytime a new Persona comes out it just mops the floor with all other RPG's available.. an absolute blast of an experience! But when its over, you feel so empty like your body was sucked into a black hole 😢
You cannot express what it's like to hear this track on that boss fight after wandering around for Tokyo for 70 hours of game. You just have to experience it. It is like the game is giving you an award for your effort.
This song sums up Persona 5 perfectly. Starts off with a bang and then only gets better. Such an epic song, I could listen to it over an over again and never get bored. Just like playing Persona 5 never gets boring.
Lol Fr I’m playing vanilla rn and I’m at 125 hours at sae’s palace in my first play through. Mind you I have already beaten royal 2 and a half times ...
But to be fair, I’m challenging myself and playing on hard mode cuz I feel that it’s harder than merciless and I’m not doing the cheese farming strat with the reaper
this fight has been a long time coming, and joker knows that this is his only chance at striking back and unleashing sweet revenge on the man who stole everything from him. it's incredibly risky and harder than anything he's ever had to do before, but he doesn't hesitate-his friends are supporting him now. he won't let his anger cloud his judgement, keeping a level head despite it all. instead he uses his rage to keep his fire burning, to keep on fighting. it's his moment; it's showtime
@@Flying_fisheri have never heard a single person call this song mid, thats how good it is The only 2 songs that i can think of that are better than this song (opinion alert) are "I Believe" and lollias cover of this song
@@ripmyogfireemblemsave Dude the okumura fight in Royal is even harder ... You have to beat them before they even 1 of the robots runs away after a few turns and then fight another certain robot afterwards ( not saying cause spoilers)
Bro when I heard this for the first time I was in shock for like 20 minutes straight up because of how good this song was 😂😂💯 I literally didn’t see this coming at all
Stroll into the battle knowing it'll be tough, only level 30 but i wanna see what i'm in for. *Lasted one turn* Well i'll just come back later, ballin' music though. Edit: So 2 year's later I'm still getting notifications. You've had enough time to finished P5 and P5R and to find some secrets so I'm not gonna worry about spoliers. I was talking about the TWINS FIGHT, I made this original comment without remembering that Shido's fight also use's this song.
ooooh this song! One of the few times I just straight up put my controller down to listen to a theme. Amazing three years later this song still straight up slaps!
I mean dude don't even sweat it you'll have time to listen to this song for day's against the twin wardens who will tear you a new one if you fail to impress them by turn 6 I think
When a song like this starts playing you know shit is about to get real better bring your A game this is were Legends are born heaven or hell let's rock😎
Why no one mentioned about this song sounding like some Michael Jackson's song at the 30 sec mark? Lol. Sounded like the mixture of Smooth Criminal and Annie. Loving it.
When I first heard this theme I thought it was kinda weak for a boss theme Maaaan, this song grew on me so much, I think it might be my favorite track in the game now
i loved the shido fight where in the first phase it’s just the instrumental and i thought “pretty good song, kinda generic boss theme tho”. then phase 2 happens and lyrics kicked in and i loved it
@@jimblesnontroninbo6690 I just expected a more intense and upbeat track for a final boss, but it ended up making me feel laid back and confidant like a badass ready to finish this whole thing off once and for all
Was fighting against Shido alone at the very end of his boss battle and even though I was loosing my shit over how nervous I was that I'd make a wrong move and have to start all over, this song calmed me down and I just started dancing around midnight alone whilst the rest of my family was asleep upstairs Hoo boy, what a time
@@todorokipicturebutitsusedb6756 I can see people disliking the game which is fine, but it bothers me when they say the game being bad is some unchallengeable fact.
@@todorokipicturebutitsusedb6756 As someone who played P3 and 4 first. Persona 5 is basically a bastardized version of 4 that rips all its story beats without understand why 4 worked or any of the story meaning of 4. A shit version of Persona 4 is still better than most games, but its a huge downgrade. Cept the soundtrack, but its Meguro Shojo, dude is a fucking wizard.
I spoiled so much while not staying off the internet during my first playthrough, but this theme playing while Shido attacked honestly still hyped me the FUCK UP. It was the culmination of everything that happened since Okumura’s death, the ultimate revenge. And then when Shido knocks all your allies away and you’re forced into a one-on-one I almost cried out of sheer hype lmao. I was so lucky to have the Persona of the dead monk with the bell because he blocked most of his strongest attacks.
i remember that the first time i fought shido, took me nearly 45 min to beat, after that i was so damn happy because that fight is so intense, then after playing for 1 hour or so, i decided to take a break and i turned off my ps4, my mistake: i didn’t saved my progress.
NGL when getting to shido on his last "phase" i was so nervous of dying, and to repeat the process all over from the beginnning of the fight. I was bopping all the way with the song lol
This is my favorite song from the game. I felt so damn badass fighting Justine and Caroline to this song. Beat them my very first try only 2 KO's and they weren't down long lol
God I remember getting to this for my first time and I just remember that my heart was destroyed by Akechi’s story and what happened in the engine room. I just remember dancing and *screaming* this song with the instrumental version and just cheering along with it
