did you forget that the whole persona roster and the concept comes from ancient mythologies and many personas being named of people from early civilization and the tales around them? Sure the twins are not really from that time, but the whole "other side" are way way older in time and nature to the current day humans. you'd think that if our forefathers were watching us train nowadays, they'd just scoff and get pissed off at our low (or lack thereof) amount of stamina or strength. it works in this context perfectly. besides, its not like that the twins are really speaking their mind. they are only part of lavenza's subconsciousness, parts which are also under the influence of yaldy, so give the attendants some slack

I just realized something watching this. The twins call Ren “Shujin” which means “Inmate” in Japanese. Sound familiar? The Phantom Thieves go to “Inmate Academy,” real subtle Atlus, real subtle.

I feel like that's the intention, at least in the English dub. She's very prim, proper, and polite unless you piss her off, so that's likelt why they went with that particular voice for Lavenza.

I know no one will agree with me but I absolutely love the twins. They made me laugh a lot in my first play through of this game. I never really liked the twins in the last game because all they really did was give you persona assignments and that’s about it. However in this game we get to see far more emotion of the twins in this game and I really appreciate that! I also had a theory that the twins represented your left and right side of your brain. But I’m starting to think that my theory might now be right! Overall, I love what Atlus has done with the twins in this game. I just wish they had a normal confidant like the others.
