Even the lyrics to the song make this song feel like a sequel to life will change as well. Part of the lyrics are "I thought that I told you I'm not a robot, no I thought I told you I'm not a phantom I'm in your face" and it's such a neat detail
The lyrics also reference Life Will Change. In the second verse, Lyn sings "I thought that I told you I'm not a robot, no. I thought I told you I'm not a phantom I'm in your face." It is seriously cool how Lotus Juice writes the lyrics for the music that Shoji Meguro composes. On top of that Lyn is seriously talented. They are all legends.

The lyrics of LWC wouldn't make sense in the context of this area; and as a battle of positive ideals, I Believe is basically the final form of the theme of the Phantom Thieves. The core of who they are and what they're fighting for, even moreso than just changing the hearts of the corrupt
The lyrics literally reference Life Will Change just as the guitar does. The chorus is basically I believe I told you "insert lyric from life will change", it's a reply which makes sense since Maruki will stop life form changing.
It's also an answer to Throw Away Your Mask, because that song asks us to "Believe in me..." and then in the last phase of the fight this song answers "I believe we can fly..." and I thought that was brilliant
I actually just finished P5R yesterday. P5R managed to take a perfect game with a perfect soundtrack and make it even better. And as usual, a glorious cover FamilyJules.
Honestly its a game that takes another game with few flaws, some that I noticed and some I didn't, and improves them evem more. I swear when this music kicked in during the game I shat my pants.
Man, I was so happy I went into P5R with zero spoilers outside of the third semester existing. I'd already Platinum'ed the original, so I knew how the story flowed there, but when this kicked in at THAT point of the story...man, it was such a wild trip. It fit so damn perfectly.
New best song in the game? New best song in the game. Rivers was _almost_ not dethroned, but they used it in the wrong place two or three different times in Royal. And when this swells up in the final leg, it was really beautiful. P5R is such an excellent game.

I love the sound of the Richardson 7 for the rhythm guitars, there's a noticeably different sound from your normal rhythm guitars and it's a refreshing change! I hope you get to hold onto that one since it's really good. The cover itself is awesome too, I love me some P5 instrumentals!

I have to say, I'm generally less of a fan of battle themes in games vs character themes and incidental music but when I first hear this in Royal it was inspiring!

It's a really good cover, and i'm glad no one tried to sing it because to me every time people try to do a singing cover of a persona song they just sound very not good, sorta the same for instrumental covers but you guys did an instrumental really really good
