This theme always reminds me of the lockdown, cuz I would spend all the time playing Persona 5 Royal. Greatness.

One of the best enhanced versions of a game I’ve ever played. Royal added so much, great new music, new characters and a new storyline, quality of life improvements. Also made Akechi a much better character than he was in vanilla P5.

Over 5 playthroughs..700 hours. Bought a Ps4 pro just to play this!!! Thank you Atlus!!!

This... This game right here is My favorite game of all time. I know that's a bold statement, and I certainly can acknowledge its flaws. But man no game has impacted me as much as Persona 5 Royal.

One of my favorite games of a lifetime, the soundrack of Persona 5 Royal are magnificent and the bow of Takuto Maruki is the best.

Played 2 full playthroughs each of og persona 5 and persona 5 royal. One of my favorite games of all time.

I first played this game early into lockdown after getting it for my birthday, and I will never forget how this game made me feel. Never before had a game's ending got to me like that. I was left staring silently at the credits as "Our Light" played, unable to cry having shed all my tears over the final punch-out, the goodbyes, and most of all Akechi. I know this game isn't perfect, Morgana is so obnoxious I want to punt his football shaped head to the next dimension, but this has to be one of the most special games I've ever played. Thank you so much for these irreplaceable memories

Didn’t take long for this game to be one of my all time favorites

This was the first time I finished persona 5 since in the vanilla version I got stuck in okumuras, it’s now my favourite game of all time and it’s great to see it again

Persona 5 Royal is the entry that truly brought me back into the Persona franchise. I will never forget the excitement of finally getting Royal, after several months (years since P5) of wait for the localization. P5R is a genuine masterpiece and Colors Flying High definitely proves that even more.

And finally, the recent persona opening (other than strikers and q2). While i prefer the more classy original opening of persona 5, i really like this opening a lot!!!!

I always had this opening on whenever i was prepping to stream the game on my ps4 as background music due to no capture card. But this gave the best playthrough expirence i had in a JRPG

Well I got this game around March and started it on April Fools Day. Currently in the third semester, aka THAT part of the game. Playing this game at all for the first time is quite the treat. Very glad to have done so.

I loved this game soo much I Platinumed it on my first play through, Sumire n Maruki were such a dope addition to Vanilla.

Alrighty so of course I have to be here!!!. This opening means so so much to me and one that I'm always a biggest fan of. The opening while the animations has some weird parts here and there, The colors are so vivid and the animations look really polished as it fits the songs name and title. But of course the song Colors Flying High god I love this song so so much. It means so much to me. lyns voice is so good and the instrumentation while simple is catchy and is composed like its trying to make a point which I love! And after 2 years of waiting the full version is finally finally here. 🙌 Overall looking back at this opening its just amazing and I'm listening to the song pretty much every single day! This opening is in my opinion the best opening so far and the song is my favorite out all of the opening songs love it so much!

Persona 5 Royal is by far in my opinion the best game on ps4 and became one of my favorite games of all time. While people played their new final fantasy 7 remake i rebel and play persona 5 royal and i got platinum trophy on it when the 1st lockdown was finished. I’ve played games on my ps4 and got more platinum trophies before and after p5r but this game make me play the rest of the persona 5 spin-offs (didn’t play pre-persona 5 titles) and by far make me appreciate my ps4 more after a mediocre console generation.

PEAK AESTHETIC amidst the P5 openings god Atlus went hard theming this so heavily around physical treasures because it adds a nice little motif

I love how the Royal opening acts like it's a full-on sequel and assumes (rightfully or not) that you've played the original release or know who all the Phantom Thieves are and goes full throttle with the character intros. Compare to the more subdued original that only hints at the Phantom Thieves' attire and mostly focuses on the party up to Yusuke with a tease of Makoto, Haru and Futaba from the second half of the game.

P5R was my first Persona game, but it won me over and I continued to play the rest of the series (still have some games to play but I've played quite a lot including many spinoffs). I need to get more of my friends to play it ^^
