Sojiro is one of the strongest Godslayers, on par with Nanashi and Flynn, and he doesn't even have any special power. He just walked up to a God of Fortune with a blade and sliced him into pieces. YHVH was turned into garnish for his experimental curry he was testing.

If the twins thought Sojiro was strong, wait until they meet Door-kun... Not that they can. Seriously, though, imagine if they found out that Makoto/Minato defeated the Nyx Avatar, killed the Reaper with one attack from his initial Persona, doinked Elizabeth, and is currently the Great Seal stopping the Apocalypse. Mostly the doinking Elizabeth part though.

I mean, strictly speaking Nyx Avatar wasn't that big of a deal, unlike Nyx itself. It was just a really really really strong Shadow. Gods are quite a bit of a bigger deal.

Technically, he didn’t seal Nyx. He sealed Erebus, which was calling for Nyx to destroy everything. Without Erebus, Nyx has no reason to descend, and left on its own terms.
