See, this is why I would much prefer a dynamic like the investigation group from P4 as they don't have someone like Ryuji who would never pass up an opportunity to say "we are the "criminal and sketchy group of high schoolers who definitely scream trouble". We have Yosuke who shook a fake knife and katana in front of a police officer one time but then Chie immediately took him to a proper place to get weapons from and to NOT show them off in public. None of the Investigation Group themselves say, "are looking to catch a murderer in this cozy little mountain town", "do you know ma'am that you could be a suspecting murderer?" Maybe that's just me overexhausting Ryuji and how he can be a hothead sometimes but he eventually gets over the fact that he can't just say "we are the phantom thieves" out in public

I don't really get why they get on Ryuji about this when objectively, no one can actually prove that they are the Phantom Thieves. I'm sure they are millions of kid in Tokyo larping like the phantom thieves.
Jokes aside. Is it possible to run out of time when Makoto (or Yusuke) are blackmailing you? I can't find any youtube videos on those, so i guess the game is forcing you to move forth, but i'm not 100%. Anyone knows?
You actually can. If you fail to beat the Palace before the deadline, you will Game Over. Akira/Ren will be at Leblanc where the Police will come and arrest him

That's why I really hate Ryuji. He talks so loud and is really dumb. He got nothin' better to do so he just joined the phantom thieves. He's good at just one thing that's why he did those stuff.
