What a beautiful ending. It was hard for me to say goodbye to Zen and Rei but its great that they can rest in peace. Persona Q is such an awesome game. Thanks for the videos, Omega!
Laughing my ass off that Aki and Teddie start bickering since they're played by Liam O'brien and Same Riegel, BFF's in real life with a hilarious podcast.
Persona games may be somewhat depressing in the end, but they all give such a positive message at the very end. You fall in love with all the characters in the end after spending so much time with them in all their games, and you have to say goodbye to them eventually. Even when the characters here were saying their goodbyes, I noticed they were facing us, the players. They were saying goodbye to us. Rei's story was so touching. She only realized until the end that she actually was able to make the absolute best of her very short life, and Rei finally could rest in peace happily ever after with her prince charming she always wished for. She realized this with all the friends she made along her journey. Every single game, Atlus encourages us players to go live our lives the best we can and form strong friendships with the people we treasure in our lives. I love their games so much because of their positive messages to us.
I'm replaying from the P3 side and Eve time Rei even speaks I'm like: "Reeeiii!!! I MISS YOU!!!.COMEBAAAACCKK" In tears and remembering the journey and fun you spent with your companions... Its beautiful (இдஇ
I'm sweating through my eyes. I'm sweating through my eyes. I'm sweating through my eyes. *cries profusely* I'M SWEATING THROUGH MY EYES DAMMIT! ..I'd like to have a Yukiko mood ring right now.. yes, with the gag glasses on too please.. *sniff sob*
Frantz Ivan Bertumen i-i- its just a medical condition damn it!!! real men express there emotions like this! *trys to punch my tears away* GAH! I can't do it theres Just too many!
rofl I know I would of been the biggest asshole though. Second the mission was complete I would of been heading to the exit. Mission complete, I'm outtie
***** Haha I kinda wish that was an option, would of been a nice set up for a "bad ending", you don't save Rei, come back and everything is messed up in the time line or something, not to mention Philemon (the butterfly) probably stays stuck in the spider web that was in the clock tower for eternity.
I finished the game when I was in Japan. I cried myself to sleep because of the ending. And the song changing me in the end made me feel so good. Altus with they're good vibes of their taste of music
And so, they all meet again in Arena. Except the dead ones. Those likely are unable to be in any arena game. Oh well. At least Labrys wrecks shit in Shinji's place.
"Rei... You don't need a reason for your life. No one has such a reason. You existed. You lived. That's all that matters. There is only one of you." When I played this game that quote made me cry. I needed to hear that the most in my life at the time
I don't know what's more prominent. My tears at the ending and the picture or my laughter at Koromaru's face in the picture. Also, what would've happened if everyone went into the wrong doors? Would everyone go to the wrong time?
Congrats omega, since I never played a Persona game before I really enjoyed watching these videos (currently going back to your P4 videos as well). -tomorrow = Zesty's opening or riot-
Thanks man, glad to hear you enjoyed them. There is still a couple of cool extra bosses to look out for though :p (Glad to hear you went back to the P4 vids though! ) -I would but Namco loves giving me Copyright strikes every year when I post openings early, so I gave up lol (either that or they mute them)-
13:36 Foreshadowing for Persona 4 Arena maybe? Well, that was a very heartfelt ending. Very nicely done, and not to mention that credits theme is also quite enjoyable. I'm kinda sad to see this end, it was such a nice ride. :)
That.... last "I'm home" really got me.... even tho it's not chronologically right, it's so fulfilling somehow to hear that after what i've been experienced in p3
This game became SO much more than I anticipated. I'm a huge Persona fan, and a huge Etrian Odyssey fan, so I knew I would like it. Spin off games always seem to take the lighter side of their source material, or are built as some kind of fast money maker. This used the "theme" of an Etrian Odyssey game, but made it 100% Persona. They story also turned out fantastic, rivaling the last two main series Persona games in depth and quality. It's kind of scary, when someone asks me who my favorite Persona character is I have a HARD time not choosing both Zen and Rei. And this ending scene......NOT ashamed at all to admit when MC hands Rei the map and she breaks down I ALSO broke down. Another winner from P-Studio. I'm beginning to think the Atlus team that makes up P-Studio is the new Squaresoft, in the vein that they make the BEST jRPGs of their time.
I just noticed how close Yosuke and Mitsuru were in that last pic. It could be a coincidence but if they know English dub VA's, I see what they did there...
This game really was incredible. It's not Persona 3/4 good, but I never expected it to be. Few games are. Definitely one of the best 3DS games there is though. I just absolutely loved it! Seeing these characters again, laughing at their ridiculousness, and ultimately feeling sadness in its conclusion. It was a wonderful ride. While the game was a little too grindy for my tastes, I don't regret it. It was worth it! I hope there's another one! Maybe with P5 characters! :D
@@waterized_bottle i mean they could probably do something like putting the map in the corner and letting you expand it whenever needed to place icons and all that
I honestly thought that this game had a better story than P3 and P4, it just hit much more emotionally than the other ones, it was a memory wipe story (which I usually HATE) done right
Rainer Ambos I saw the ending coming from the beginning, since no one recognized each other in Arena 1 nor Arena 2, maybe there will be a Q2 where they will remember each other the event from Q1.
after all this year it still sad just because of the ending and this quote has been use a lot of times but never will get old "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened." - Dr. Seuss
I dont know why... but I shed tears at this ending. I cant realy say why I felt so moved but I gues it doesnt matter since I were moved since P3. Someday I wish to play all games and the spin offs too. I enjoyed the videos so much. Thank you Omega!
Shit, Yu and Minato entering their respective realms almost broke me. I think I should watch this entire game from the beginning, if that end can do that to me, this game is more than worthy of my time... That end credits theme though.... my god... Never more has competition.
"Hey, could Rei's name be from the word from ghost?" ".....No." "What's it mean?" "I won't tell you." You managed piss off Chronos, Izanami. Jesus Christ.
+Mister Torgue High-Five Flexington I'd imagine this could work….if the journal, paper, and pen that you brought to write it were from the real world, rather than the labyrinth. But they probably didn't have that available.
nah as awesome as that would be Margaret said that any trace of that whether it be an object, or memory will disappear since this world they were in was not reality per-se
Is this atlus's massage of saying farewell to the cast of p3 and p4 (tht we come to love and cherish) with the coming of p5. Omg. I cannot say goodbye. UWAAAAAA!!! D': 😭😭😭😭😭😖😖 ive learned soo much with these two games. I i i..... noooo!! I cried so hard at all of the games endings and this one is just.. i cant. It's the cherry on top. It's so sad knowing tht they said "they'll meet again" but then shinji dies and the yuki dies. I cant..
The persona series always has an ending that brings a tear to my eye. Then another, and another, before I know it I'm basically crying in a very slow way.
I finished it myself and wow. I'm am so happy and surprised it turned out as well as it did. Seriously a well done game. Not as good as 3 & 4, but I thought it was going to be fan service. It was such an enjoyable experience I think the best part was despite such a huge change in the combat for Q it still felt like I was playing Persona.
it's funny how similar this game is to tales of xillia 2 they both have a boss related to time, a cogs of fate thing plus a touching story and a thing were you can choose what your protagonist is says to change the story (tales of xillia has more of an impact of what you say though) and they both have great ending credits and a almost silent protagonist with a similar voice
I enjoyed the playthrough quite a lot. Thank you for uploading. One thing I am curious about is when in the timeline of each story they "left". Loved most of the interactions in the game.
