There are so many things I love about of the game. 1. Makoto figuring out the statues function in about 10 seconds flat. 2. Jokers shit eating grin when Life Will Change started playing. 3. Minako blending in with the Phantom Thieves like she was with them the whole time.
I've played this game extensively over the last two years. I still think this is by far the hardest boss just from the lack of resources and options you have in early game.
It’s definitely the hardest boss going in blind, yeah. It was rough in my first playthrough. Ryuji’s line guard and having someone that can use Poisma on a sub persona really help. Just make sure you have fire and elec skills and you should be fine. I did this fight with no sub personas at level 13 (so Morgana had Media) and it wasn’t too bad even without having poison, but only because I knew what I would need for the fight beforehand.

You gotta give the guy credit. Even after the source of his invincibility was removed and the crowd began to turn against him, he still stood his ground and tried to fight you.
This video is interesting because not only is Kamoshida’s palace unknown to the P3/4 characters, but most of the Phantom thieves as well, since his palace was at the beginning.
@@kevin-cy3cf makes no sense to keep milking a dead system. The recent remake of Mario and Luigi sold poorly because nobody cares about the 3ds. It's not a bad sysytem but the system ran its course.
Once the video started all the way to the fight, I got so used to hearing the Japanese voices. But then when the boss theme plays, I realize again that both the Japanese and English versions of the games all have English lyrics. I just find it funny, sometimes.

Kamoshidaman needs a show of its own. I’ll add that to the list of things that need a show of its own, including, but not limited to, Tryon 3, Ushimaru, and more.

It gets complicated trust me just know that this is only one of three parts of a girl's memory whose entire childhood was messed up & this "Kamoshidaman" is one of the symbols
I died twice against this guy...i feel ashamed because since all the bosses in PQ were easy af, i thought i wouldn't have much trouble here either. Oh boy was i wrong
It was! And it took me 3 times to beat him I'm not saying it's something bad, i like it a lot, if the first boss put a fight like that, ican't imagine the rest of the game
@miloveXzelda I posted this comment four years ago. I have since beaten the entire game on both Hard and Risky difficulty, and would easily consider it my favorite dungeon crawler. That is to say... After four years, my opinion has not changed. This guy is *rough* for a first boss with the resources and SP you have available. It feels like the equivalent of the 2nd or 3rd boss of one of the main Persona entries, but right at the start of the game. I kinda respect it x3
Why are persona boss fights so long? I've never played any game but i've seen a 1 hour video fighting one of the persona five bosses. Were persona 3 and 4's like that to
They can be if ur playing at a higher difficulty but then those fights dont last long and u end up dying if ur not prepared trust me I prefer persona fights than the other smt games cause even they are shorter fights they can cheese the hell out of u by ai exploit. Example: a particular boss uses beast eye to gain 2 more turns then it just attack boost then beast eye again then the same loop then one shot ur entire team lol but at the flipside he is fragile as hell XD

@@wildharpy6435 the persona series has a very good storyline its definitely something to take notice I'd definitely recommend these games cause of its lenient difficulty, storytelling, strategy, and character development. However these games tend to be err long and when i say long. It's rather long lol but it entertained me throughout the storyline. And the grinding can get quite repetitive. Kinda the same cons as persona 5. But if u can get past it this game is pretty good. And its soundtrack is pretty fire as well. Edit: kinda why the persona series has like more than 50 parts or hour long playthroughs in each video I believe the difference from p3, 4, to 5 is the difficulty I'd say persona 3 is the hardest since because of the random chance your main character can get instakilled quite a bit which causes a game over to the title of the screen and home to the most broken secret boss of all time lol. Persona 4 is a bit more lenient but its pretty hard if you dont know what ur doing. Therefore these games kinda teach you that even the little things can make quite the difference in turning the favor in the fight. While persona 5 kinda holds ur hand alot unless its merciless difficulty lol.

This boss fight is legitimately impossible. Nothing I did ever worked, no matter what my team comp or strategy was. I tried poisoning him, he is (sometimes) immune to it. I try lowering his stats, those barely made a difference since he hits for roughly 100 damage with just his basic attack. He resists every aliment, including physical. It's legitimately impossible for me to beat it, I've tried everything. And it's the first major boss, why is it so insanely brutal? This first dungeon honestly made me hate the game due to how extremely unforgiving it is.

This is both cute and horrible at the same time. Cute seeing Makoto and Haru but horrible seeing them as damsels in distress. Almost makes me wish seeing them using their Showtime attack on Kamoshidaman as payback.
