Got my NASM Cert in December And I've been a group instructor for 4 years. I am going to start the training in about a week or so and the thought of it scares me. The Director is taking me through the process. This Friday I have a friend sample client coming in. I'm excited to start and know once I get a few in there my nerves will ease up. The gym has a quota of 12 billable hours a week. Oh my!!! But, like you said the group ex. Will help and I know a lot of members. Love your videos. Thanx!!

Kathy Iseri woah! Quota is stressful, but now doubt you'll rock it. 4 clients 3x a week! Good luck! Thankyou for watching, your group ex is going to pay off!

I recently got my CPT from NCSF and I'm having a hard time finding clients and gyms that will hire due to lack of experience. This video helped out a lot and thanks for the useful advice!

This video is very useful, Thank you :) do you know some reasons why someone would not want to pursue this career full time?, I was thinking of getting certified but wanted to know more about any challenges in the field.

Kristy Salway great video idea! The first few that are coming to mind are: #1- there are a lot of trainers, so you really have to find a niche and be original. #2- working for a gym vs. yourself. There are big differences in being hired to train whoever the gym that employs you tells you to, vs. creating your own clientele and operating your own business. #3 burnout- the job gets tiring after awhile of listening to the same excuses over and over. You really have to be smart and not do too much too soon, because you’ll wear yourself out

Melissa Jolly hang in there mama, one important thing to know is that it won't ever be what it was, but that doesn't mean it can't be great! I'll definitely write down that video suggestion. For now, keep doing what your doing, and working on holding planks!

I’ve been thinking about becoming a trainer. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do, but I just never knew how to get started. I’ve been reading the blogs and articles at www.TheSixFigureTrainer.com and it’s been really helpful. I decided on which certification to get, and I’ve also learned how to find the best gym in my area to train at. I’m looking forward to building my business.
