@fwlamebratt 3 года назад
How do u no how big the space between the shapes is..
@kkertsna9204
@kkertsna9204 3 года назад
@@fwlamebratt by extending the plane and projecting your light lines to your VPs through the mirror plane. Then make a perpendicular line on the mirror plane. These two lines help "extend" the plane you're dupping so you can use the multi-technique to replicate the space between your plane and the mirror. (if anyone else can simplify, I can be long-winded)

I still can't understand how do you know what proportion to make the mirror in relation to to cube! 🤔. For instance, In the 1st example he placed the left vertical edge of the mirror considerably further away from the left vertical edge of the cube. Also, how do you know to draw the right vertical edge of of the mirror so close to the right vertical edge of the cube? Can anyone explain that to me? 🤔

Hey Dan, I’m confused on why you can’t just duplicate the bottom plane over in perspective 2 times to get the mirror plane? Wouldn’t using the basic multiplication technique give you the same thing?
@Hoogalindo
@Hoogalindo Год назад
Because multiplication doesn't account for the flipping that occurs when you're mirroring. Multiplication is just multiplying it--same angle, same orientation, same tilt. Mirroring does the same but flips it so there's symmetry.
