At the end of the summer school holidays I went to check out another major Australian city, Adelaide! This was the first time I had travelled to South Australia and I was very excited to see all the tourist attractions and transport in Adelaide, including trams, diesel trains, red B-series, and a guided busway! This is the first video in the Adelaide series as I take to the skies in a Boeing 737 with Qantas to head to the new city. I didn't realise how predominant the engine noise is so during take-off you can barely hear what I'm saying, but really it's just for the glorious overhead views. On landing, the engine noise was even worse so instead I just covered it with music and put text on the screen. I am also annoyed that I accidentally held my phone sideways when walking on the tarmac so one of the best shots of the plane was ruined! 😢 Anyway, enjoy the video as a little break from our usual buses and trains in Perth!
