I am proud of you as a Pakistani. At a time when our country is stricken with religious dogma and pseudo science, you are a voice glowing with scientific precision. You are a modern day Galileo.
He is a noble man who has chosen not to leave his homeland and along with doing Physics he works for the betterment of education system and development of rational mindset in youth. If he had chosen to live in a developed country, he would've made more achievements in science.
Hoodbhoy is a hope which keeps the torch of secularism , education and disarmament glowing in the region. People like Hoodbhoy should be supported for their continuous contributions towards world peace and secularism.
i feel proud to see Hoodbhai receiving PhD degree from one of the leading university. I had few contributions in Pakistan Nuclear program that I regretted afterwards.
Well, Those who have been involved in this discipline may be aware of its detrimental effects towards mass killings and if such technology falls in the hands of extremists like Moodi, God forbid, we don't know what will happen. So, for de-fusing nukes I stand with Hoodbhai. For medical use and energy generation we may carry on R&D in this discipline but not for nukes.
I'm reconsiding my criticism of Dr. Hoodbhoy regarding his stance on nuclear program of Pakistan. I think nuclear detteranc has protracted the kashmir issue even more. If there were no nuclear weapons in South Asia, conventional war might have solved the issue.
