Best channel for PES info and tips by far! Among all those stupid channels promoting cheesy tactics and cheap tricks to supposedly help you, your channel is a blessing. You actually teach people how to properly play PES and become better. I was div 8 in online divisions, and now i'm division 4 challenging for div 3 promotion! Not because i was just using your formation tips but because I started playing more patiently and logically. It has became more of a "mindgame" than a football game now and i love it.

- I think the downside here is that the two Fullbacks will be tired quickly. So one must have two good subs on the bench to replace them in second half. - And for the defensive instruction, I would put ContainmentArea at the "Centre" instead of "Wide". I prefer this whatever the formation I make; because for me the priority is to cover the central defence well in order to prevent the opponent from sending the deadly through balls and long passes to the striker. We could rather let him play to his wingers and then we can perfectly defend the crosses with at least three defenders.
amine TN surprising but it's not as bad as you'd expect. It depends on stamina but a FB like Luke Shaw who's stamina is at around 80 lasts until 70-80th min, depending how much usage they get. Cheers mate
how does 442 diamond (2x cm) compare to this? basically you swap the cb for am the key question i think is the anchor man DM (+ defensive tactic on him) enough or does one need that one more cb? ofc i use the offensive sideback tactic and players suited to it, so its basically width vs AM
I prefer the 3 CBs but it's personal preference, I suppose a CB could be sacrificed for 442 diamond formation... but if players use really cheesy tactics (CF,SS,SS) all bunched together, you'll probably struggle to contain them with 2 defenders. It does depend what tactics your opponent uses but 442 diamond should work in most cases too.
What would be the best teams in PES18 that can suit this fluid formation, other than ManUtd ? I would say Chelsea and Real Madrid. But I don't see a lot of teams. For Real Madrid, we can put Marcelo on the left obviously, and maybe Bale on the right instead of Carvajal. I dunno if Bale can do this role or not, but first I think he is too fast to cover defence and attack quickly in transition, and second point is that when we have a player like him it's difficult to put him out of the game. Ronaldo and Benzema could be the two strikers.
amine TN You should check out my best fluid formation n tactics for RM, that's a LOT of fun to use. If you're playing Juve you want a big powerful team to match generally. As there is no point crossing with Chiellini and Barzagli in the middle. They're so OP. Real Madrid would be a good match up, I'd prefer United because, quick powerful defenders - don't play Lindelol...so susceptible to over the top through ball. Play Bailly, Smalling and Rojo or Jones. Shaw and Val... gives you good power and speed across the back line. Pogba, Matic for sheer strength and power. Ibra was great too if he's still there but Sanchez can fill that role, great dribbling through midfield. Lukaku, power house and difficult for most defenders to deal with. Cheers mate
It is great defencivly ! However the change from defence to attack is slow which allow the opponent's defence to re-arrange and cover the spaces! Great players like u who have amazing dribbling skills abilities can eliminate this disavantage.. since u r able to re-open the spaces by skills tricks.. however average players like us will suffer from this .. Hey dude, form has a huge impact - see this video and by those calculations I can determine whether I pick Messi who is off-form or a lesser player from the squad pool. I leave off-side off and manually use it - but to be honest, very rarely as it's dangerous vs the AI because they can sense it. It works online though. Never auto select tactics, I adjust those in-game. Cheers mate

When I set up my team, the defender who is supposed to move forward into the 3-5-2 when we are in possession goes into a position on the opposite side of the pitch when we shift into 'without possession'. How do I make them stay in position in both 'with' and 'without' possession?
All the goals are nice here, beautiful play haha. Anyway no matter how bad some RM players are, if I make a slight mistake, I can get conceded... because the team's too overpowered in the first place!! Especially headers and pace..
This formation should nullify RM especially if they play 433 - they're doomed! The formations that can cause a pain are 3-4-2-1 and 4-4-2 (diamond with attacking full backs). As these can pin you in... but still a massive threat on the counter. Every formation has a counter formation, obviously lol.

Juve, Juve, Juve, Juve and Juve lol. Seriously... Juve, Real Madrid - these two are probably the outstanding pair. I like United but they're not as strong offensive or defensively as those. Still... any team is beatable - but these teams are absolute monsters.
Spoony Pizzas so I tried to make this tactic and save it however when I do and then set my marking before the game starts it rearranges all of my players out of positon like my CB will be at CDM at kickoff and my CF will be at rmf in possession idk what I'm doing wrong lol.
Hi mate, I think it's cuz maybe you saved formation in exhibition and played in ML or vice versa OR possibly saved it with Live Update on & loaded it when Live Update was off? It's got to be one of these I think!
