Spoony apart from being a little sulky because you picked Juventus and not Roma (kidding you could've picked any team out of the whole damn Serie A, a part from Juve and of course Lazio, Juve I told you why and Lazio for obvious reasons)... Anyways I ain't wiriting to give you stick, I am actually here to tell ya that your tutorials are great, I often go back to them (also who on earth would do a tut on shielding the ball, only spoony man!) and always try to tweak up my game by watching you. Many things you teach I've learnt istinctively by myself (the super cancel for instance) but when I see your tutorials they simply clarify a lot. I remeber you being a little skeptical about this pes (you said this was an awsome sim but you enjoyed playing the last one better). Have you changed your mind by any chance? Hey dude, thank you for your well written message mate. Appreciate that. I chose Juve as someone requested it during my Dortmund streams. Funnily enough, my favourite Italian team is Juve. Love the shirt colour and the football they played under Spalletti was simply wonderful. Look the signings at the start of this season, bought lots of potential. I have changed my mind 100% - this is actually a better game now since the Data Packs have been released. I'll wait for the 4th and do a re-review to compare both games at a complete state. @Spoony Pizzas are you aware of the 'R1 + flick right stick' control? In the manual it's presented as a way to push the ball out in front of a stationary player so that you can hit a shot or a long ball, but I've found it can also be used as a first touch. It's very useful and also just looks really clean.
Hi mate, yes. Used to make passes, shots more accurate but not necessarily a good idea when being pressured in a close situation. However if the space permits it, it's very useful this year as there appears to be more time on the ball.
A little bit disappointed. I primarily playing online, sombrero, or any kind of skill move will make you roll on the grass with managers like klop, while opponent will continue with the ball. One touch football is one of the best ways against aggression (where I am also weak) and I find hard to shield the ball sometimes to give space for my wings or striker to break trough.Good vid tho, find you one of the best for pes tricks and tips. Hey dude, every scenario differs but online you can't shield ball from good players because they'll abuse super cancel and barge into you probably. I would say these tips are more for offline and one touch but also dribbling (see dribble tutorial) are super effective online as it keeps your opponent guessing
hi mate. i have a question. is there no way to trap the ball like in the previous series? i'm not sure which PES but there was a time when i can use the right analog button to trap the ball (or the R2 button for chest trap in another version)... the last PES i played was PES 2016 i think. I tried using right click to trap the ball in PES19 instinctively but doesn't seem to work.

Spoony u have to play it on PC, its amazing, new great pitch mod, for almost all stadiums, evo switcher for all scoreboards + champions league with music, like in pes 2018. Its great in master league
I struggled with pressure from other players online. It’s as if people can press me and take away all my passing options all at the same time. So frustrating! What do I do? Is it just a case of not dribbling well enough?
Hey dude, sounds like they're playing Frontline pressure, Aggressive and perhaps Gegenpress. Dribbling can certainly help by turning away with the ball, let their player run around one side of the other and turn away as detailed in both of these. The other option is to use 1-2s. This will kill a Gegenpress style and leave their defensive line exposed. If you can break between midfield and defence with a CM or ACM... you're going to cause them big problems. Maybe look for longer passes over the top too...keep them thinking. If they're pressing, don't be afraid to go backwards or sideways... You'll kill their stamina and you can finish the in the last 20mins of game. Watch my new video which is being uploaded shortly how I deal with Arsenal's crazy pressing. Yes mate, 1 touch passing. Try to avoid passing beyond 90 degrees of the way your player is facing... if you can't (no-one near) then be sure to turn away. Cheers
i find the ai so annoying to play against on top player because they always sit in their box when i attack and also when i counter attack my players never come up to support so i always have to cross and when they attack they have players coming to support and always score from crosses. finally when i play on man u master league my players always fill sluggish and when i ask them to pass they sometimes take an extra touch and give the ball away. i am getting really annoyed at this game and might stop playing unless you have any tips on tactics to use to stop this. BTY i play on pc and my gameplay is not modded but i do have evoswitcher 2.3 installed and run the game through that.
digby haslock you have to try different things in your tactics. I got so annoyed as well when I first started on top player. They cpu does all the things you want your players to do but they don’t. My guys were slower then theirs even when my guy has a higher speed rating. I just tweaked my attacking and defending instructions to find what they really do for me. Then you can turn up the aggressiveness in game by tapping up or down on the directional pad twice. To raise or lower your pressing. I found myself doing the same thing on defense over and over and getting the same result ( the other team scoring on crosses). So I changed what I was doing and not clicking and attacking the player with the ball. Now I’m almost ready to step up to superstar. Don’t give up man, it will come to you.
digby haslock Spoony pizzas is a pro man, watch his tutorials on best tactic formations. He has them for a lot of teams. Watch him play in those videos as well to see how he responds to the cpu on superstar, then try to mimic what he does until it comes more natural. If you use a specific team ask him to make one for that specific team. I actually change my tactics defensively a lot. I play around with them and see what works for me. I wish I could help. Spoony def can help you. I just started playing pes a few months ago and knew nothing about soccer. Just watching spoony videos and playing at night for a few hours everyday has got me a lot better. When I jumped from regular to top player it took some time for me to even score a goal and stop them at all. So I would drop back to regular difficulty when it got too frustrating then when I dominated there I went back up. Spoon suggested that to me and it helped. I like the game when it’s challenging but get so mad when I can’t even be competitive.
I use counter attack, short pass, advanced settings attacking fullbacks, and tikitaka, defensively I do conservative, deep d line, and try to force them to the middle of the field so they can’t use the cross so much on me. I don’t hold the circle button to have a player press the guy with the ball. I just try to cut off passing lanes and anticipate where they will go and use the player select button a lot to switch off to other players to try and intercept. Spoony has videos on all of this stuff including super cancel. I use Super cancel all the time on offense and defense. Hope this helps you man, but don’t give up on it. It will come together and it will be fun again.
I destroy people online.I play online alot(i almost only play online) and destroy almost every opponent.My playing style is tiki taka,quick 1, 2.And pass alot.I win almost every game online.But for one reason or the other,when i finally play against computer(on superstar),i struggle.I never win comfortably,the way i want.And it annoys me.I have only played on legend difficulty 3 times,and i lost 2 ,drew 1. Wtfffff.i destroy my friends and online opponents,but struggle against A.I.. My friends can't beat me but they win against the A.I comfortably.But i can't What do i do?
Hey dude, it's two entirely different ways of playing. Online direct play is rewarded and offline against AI you have to be patient. I'm a better offline player than online as that's what I play the most although I can adapt online. Offline against AI I can go easily undefeated for many games at a time. Try being more patient offline, waiting for your team to move forward, with a greater spread of formation through use of hug the touchline and attacking full backs. Cheers bro
@@vinsonchunikiah777 So when playing a lot of slow/safe possession game and attacking through etc for quite a few games, the AI will start to automatically pressure more and put a lot of players into the middle part of their side when defending so I cannot do my plays through there?
Spoony Pizzas im relying on holding square button and mark ai nearest to my goalie. This way i have a higher rate of winning the ball than me manually try to steal the ball from ai.
Spoony Pizzas so my ai vs ai. But i think pes players need to have satisfaction from defending apart from scoring too. Since pes 2018, defending is not fun
