I rinsed this out so hard, I entirely forgot of its existence. This track dominated my early teens; late night mood swinging. This'd always help me to relax. Bassline thick enough to resurrect any doust sound system!!!
This choon is the pure essence of righteousness; a beauty is inlaid in in this track that can truly not be described by human lips, such is true for some of peshay's other works...
HOLY FUCK, this track's opening vocal chord sound is the exact same as what Soichi Terada used in his 1996 Jungle track, "Mt Ambient vs Spasm". Holy fuck, it must be a Korg synth preset or something. That, as well the percussion and generally everything else in this track is masterfully done. Absolutely incredible.
I think Roger Johnson helped with some of the production on these. If you look at Basement Records, Ron Wells (Jack Smooth) has a similar sound. Maybe they were using the same equipment there. He's still around & active so you could ask him if you're interested.
Jack smooth/Ron wells sounds nothing like this peshay track, his music is pure jungle techno/techno and he very rarely if ever uses the Amen break which this track is based around its well documented what Jack smooth thinks of Amen based tracks, this is a million miles away from the basement/sound entity sound that he is famous for
There seems to be a new song taking all the credit now that sounds really similar to this song and it's by Drake, Life is Good. I still prefer peshay's version all the way.
O how about a rave where everyone is dancing doing the jungle dance or the robot or the Melbourne shuffle or a break dance or the B Boy moved wow what a thought
I appreciate that this is a long shot but I am searching youtube for a particular track - the only way I can describe it is that it has a vocal sample from a film or something near the beginning that has a man saying "coming straight from the depths of hell" and then shortly after that another sample - man saying "before we move this abyss , where are the angels" - I think thats what they say after listening to it 100's of times. Its a beautiful melodic track - any idea?
Hi Jamie. Maybe you found it by now but it's In Deep - From the Depths (Urban Flavour) > ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pZxlbQzCHxQ.html
CrystalFissure Oh my christ, I find you everywhere to do with atmospheric DnB! A platform gamer and a lover of DnB! If I make a game, the soundtrack will be based off DnB! Thats the dream.
Ahh, this one is a classic. Yeah; I absolutely adore this style, as well as Deep House, Nu-Jazz, Acid Jazz etc. Peshay actually has a wonderful Jazz sounding track called "Pacific". Check it out; it's incredible.
10:31 seconds wow today's music artist can't even make a track that long or a track this good for even just 4:00 exactly what a shame but don't get me wrong now there are still some new artist today that can but there far and wide and mostly underground now just not mainstream at all.
