Today I'm trying to solve the conundrum of condensing, sorting and reorganizing my paper scraps. I've got them stashed in lots of places and piles. How can I best group these papers so that I can find what I want and eventually use them up? Maybe using them up should not be the goal. It took me several times of going through my paper pieces (happily, it's mostly edited out), discarding the scraps that don't delight me. I want to focus on using the supplies I enjoy so that creating is fun, not getting bogged down in the leftovers. Now I have a system I'm pleased with and expect it will work well for me.
What is the hardest area in your craft room/space where you struggle to keep organized?
We could dub this series, "Confessions of a Cluttered Crafter"! I never thought of myself as a person who hoarded a lot of things or who kept a cluttered home. However, I am having to face some hard truths about myself when it comes to downsizing and decluttering my spaces - especially my craft room. I could get overwhelmed, but I've learned that dividing up a large job into a series of small jobs makes it easier and more likely that I will accomplish my goal(s).
