Maybe they’re coming thru all your drains? The pest control company told me to keep my drains covered and my toilet seat down, as they love moisture and feed off sludge from in the pipes. I have to find a spray to use once a month. They(pest control co.) used a spray called Zenprox EC. I am keeping my fingers crossed. I think it works for all kinds of gnats/fruit flies, as I have found most of them dead when I came home from work & now all my drains are covered. Stressful!

YUP!!! I've caught THOUSANDS in traps but they just keep coming. No food, fruit or plants laying around. As I type this, one just flew right into my face!!!

Me too! The video only said fruit, food and plants. I don't have any of that. Plus this place was just built months ago. No gnats when I. looked at the empty place

@@glendaprice2214 they stuck around well thru the winter as well. Late January they were finally gone. They drove me completely mad!!

*FINALLY* someone says what I'm feeling. I've caught probably thousands of gnats using the apple cider vinegar, lidish soap method. My problem is they keep producing. Like you, I can't find the source. This is so irritating. And congrats to you that they are finally gone according to your last comment.

There is no such thing as one gnat. They breed like crazy.

They can be coming from your tub and sinks also possibly your toilet

@@NEO-92 It *does* work! I've killed roughly 20 of them within a week. Problem is, one or more at a time still keep showing up from somewhere. I live in an older complex, so that probably doesn't help.

@@aaronmiller3156 it works, you need to cover it with a plastic wrap and poke small holes so they can get in. I tried without the wrap and just sat on the edge of the bowl

MrFlawsy ok so this just helped. Go to the store and buy ‘ insect killer by orthro ‘ at Lowe’s or Target and spray it on the carpet and rugs. They hate it!!!

I read to fill your sink with ice for a week straight the ice cold water from ice keeps the pipes cold which kills eggs I'm going to try plus clean clean clean and dry

I have several bowls of Dawn dishwashing liquid in them all around my apartment with dead fruit flies and gnats in them and I'm still having problems with them. I just moved in my apartment two months ago, and I've been having so many problems with fruit flies, and gnats. I tried pour boiling water and bleach down the kitchen sinks and it didn't work.

What I did is set a over-riped fruit and fresh garbage like warm vegetables, crumbs of meat, just garbage remains and teaspoon of warm sauce and put it in a paper coffee cup with plastic wrap on top, and punch holes. It draws them to the light zapper or sticky paper with UV light.
