All people have to do is, look at people who eat a Whole food plant based vegan diet - they look decades younger, never get sick, never go to the doctor, etc. And a WFPB diet is the ONLY known diet to both prevent & heal heart disease

After watching this documentary - One lady described what happened to her beloved dog and how it happened over night - This is exactly the same thing that happened to my dog. There were no warnings. I come home and shes almost lifeless on the ground. She was in so much pain that she had clenched her teeth into her tongue. We rushed her to the Vet. The Vet was dumbfounded - we had to put her down. He asked to do an autopsy on her - and found that her stomach was twisted and just destroyed. Now I have 5 more rescues and I will now change their diets. If I had only known. My sweet Lili could have lived a longer healthy life. RIP my sweet Liliann.
same for my jack russell. She died of liver and stomach cancers. The vet told us it was a result of many years of feeding keebles and canned dogs food. He even said the amount of preservatives and salt in the dog food is 4 times the amount we give to humans. Natural is the best, and that's from the mouth of a veteran vet.
I'm sorry for your losses. I just started feeding my sharpei mix a home cooked diet. I've only had him for a year and a half but he's pretty much been on kibble since I got him. I hope his new diet will bring him good health.
@@bugloverspiderlover8490 I've seen lots of cats that did not eat kibble and have kidney failure , and one of the dogs I saw who got a raw food diet had his kidney markers up after only 4 months on that diet after they changed back to the regular old kibble the markers went back down.
Watched this documentary yesterday. About a month ago we switched to Fresh Pet raw food at Target is refrigerated (obviously lol). Before that we were feeding our dog Rachel Ray Nutrish grain free dry food. At first, we made the switch from grain to grain free dry food because our dog was experiencing allergies (itching and reverse sneezing). The switch helped but his dental health was declining. So we switched to raw food. He loves it and eats the serving in one sitting! Before he would graze throughout the day with the dry food. We also stopped treating him with Frontline Flea and Tick because he started developing cysts. That stuff is pure poison! Now we use natural oil repellent remedies. Life is good!
Make your own lavender oil /witch hazel/drops of Bragg’s raw apple cider vinegar 1-2 drops clove oil mix in a solution with distilled water place in spray bottle
Frontline us pure poison, yes. But be careful with essential oils. Some of them are poisonous to cats and I would definitely research them before putting them on any other animal as well.

I was wondering if this doc is available in other languages and if so which ones. I have watched it last night...how important is getting educated. We must keep our brain all the time on if we do not want to suffer the effect of human greed!
The documentary gave no insight or information on how to go about feeding your pet a raw diet or at least a home made raw diet. They went straight into a company raw diet product push towards the end.
Seriously don't be lazy. Raw feeding properly, isn't convenient and fast , and that's part of the point the vets bring out in the documentary, so it takes time to research to be sure you're giving your dog the right things they need. I've been studying raw feeding for years before i saw this documentary. If you just take time out you can find accurate sources on the nutritional needs. This documentary wasn't a RU-vid How To video, it was meant to expose the corruption behind the dog food industry so people can understand that cats and dogs are meant for raw, and that the BS being fed to us is just that. DogsNaturallyMagazine.com gives proper organ meat, to muscle, meat, etc ratios. And fyi i feed my cats commercial raw, but now after doing my study, i know what to look for and who to trust when it does come to commercial raw. I can't make homemade because where i live, organ meats are a staple food here so they're expensive to source personally from butcher shops.

Feed your cats cooked or smoked! Meow mix is terrible. Our cat, Bluey (tuxedo HSC female) started vomiting and was becoming lazy because of meow mix. We started feeding her smoked salmon, and she's more playful and healthier than ever!
Information is power, and this topic has been kept under wraps even after the Internet was built. Twenty some years later, the word is getting out. Its now cheaper to just make meals for your dog and enjoy some of it with them.
The food lots of vets I visited recomend and usually sell is crap & has these ingredients. Seems like a money making skeem.They get kickbacks for the food they sell & pets get all kinds of health & skin issues...More $ for the vet!! This is also true with all the unnecessary shots vets say your pets need. Also, spaying or neutering dogs & cats young causes strange bone growth (tall & thin frame), osteo issues (dysplasia & cancer), health issues, etc.. Do your own research instead of trusting what a vet says. You may save your furry best friend & your bank account.
Anywhere in the 3rd world usually grow organic food and lifestock, it's more of a modernised or industrialised problem(seeing as the problem is starting to be common everywhere on this world)

@@MarvFitBikesKicks Yes and No. It's not like the video was advertising any specific raw food. It was advertising them all in general. When I first started feeding raw I was very overwhelmed with the amount of information out there. If I didn't have a cattery or was a person with very little time, it would be more convenient for me to buy from a commercial source. My point is that owners have to do their research. This video can't do all in one or it would never end.
Ethereal Persians raw feed is something that can be done at home so I don’t see why we only got a product pitch is my point. I know a lot of information goes into it, but we didn’t even get a basic recipe, all we got was raw feed brands. What I’m getting at is that raw feed is already very expensive as it is which is a bit discouraging but buying from these brands which almost double the price makes raw feed nearly impossible for most people. I’ve read articles with some recipes but it’s always nice to get a visual of how one recipe can be made.
@@MarvFitBikesKicks I didn't feel that way at all. The title says, "A look Inside a Questionable Industry - Pet Fooled". It wasn't titled on how to feed a raw diet. I never thought it was supporting raw companies. Probably because I get my turkey necks from a local meat delivery service, my chicken hind quarters at the local grocery store, my tripe, chicken feet, & beef neck bones come from a local Asian market. I also get cow tongue, cow heart, liver, etc. from the cow and hog I have butchered for my own food. I also feed deer from local hunters (when in season).
Category: entertainment. Even that is a stretch. This is pure and utter trash with no scientific validity. I love the part where they think they know more than people who have had 8 years of education and are encouraged to do independent research in the area. Or the board certified veterinary nutritionists who spend around 10-12 years studying and do actual research and publish in reputable journals. Do they have any idea what standards are currently in place, and the new ones being implemented? It has higher regulation than some human foods, and some food/ingredients rejected by some of these "bad" companies goes right back into human food processing plants. I can't stand thing like this that target uninformed individuals through emotional appeal and provide nothing scientific to back it up. You are a plague on society and i can't believe you're not more ashamed of yourself.
Educated fools. Who cares if a vet nutritionist spends 10-12 years "studying"? Studying lies from Hills and Royal canin. That still does not mean they know everything and vets recommend the garbage to our pets either because of money or ignorance about nutrition or both.

Come tell me how great it is after your kitty gets an allergic skin reaction...as soon as I took her off of Hills, she stopped tugging at her skin...now she is sick with anemia and I have been crying for two weeks thinking I may lose her...so step the hell off woman.
I disagree with your comment. Highly educated doctors and vets also kill people and animals with horrific medical advice. Four doctors almost killed me by insisting the medicine they recommended for me wasn’t causing a near fatal reaction and insisting I needed it. SMH! Educated people don’t always give good advice!
Most of the arguments made against kibble are the same issues with meat produced for people. Yet the movie makes it sound as if that isn't true. The whole idea that dogs can't eat grains and should eat like wolves is very untrue. Nothing is scientific, everything plays off emotions.
That is not scientific you just made up a story with out any scientific facts to back it up. Humans do not process grains in their natural state either that is why we cook them, mash them or make them into a flour only they can humans, cats and dogs process grains
lol you’re telling me since we domesticated dogs we should change their diet and give them grains instead of what they have been eating since they were in the wild? Go ahead and keep feeding your pet this food that has no nutrition your dog even needs. Sorry but you obviously didn’t watch this documentary and if you did you obviously don’t realize that this goes back to whenever dogs roamed around in the wild. You didn’t see that her dogs were living to be 16 years old and still looked like a 5 year old dog? Lol it’s not a play off of emotions it’s what a dog should truly be eating
