That song is an absolute earworm! The video was another stroke of genius from the Pet Shop Boys, they parodied themselves which proves again they have great humor. The end was the icing on the cake, Neil and Chris had to watch all that lol. I love their deadpan expression😂 I bet they burst out laughing multiple times before the final take!
I sang this song at a karaoke club that i went to with my then-girlfriend to meet all her friends. Admittedly not the best song to sing under the circumstances, but I love this song. Two years later we got married so I regret nothing!
I been listening to petshop boys since 1986 and i think they're one of the greatest classical duo of 19th & 20th century, in their music and showmanship!
"I'm the other one" combined with Neil's expression sets of the giggles every time😂 Best part is most never realising that while David and Matt are parodying a parody of Neil and Chris, the REAL parody is George Bush and Tony Blair. Only the PSB could pull off a parody of a parody...of a parody lol. I'd love to see the outtakes considering how close Neil and David are, there's no way David would have stuck to the original script considering he's brilliant at winding Neil up, only time I've seen Neil totally lose it in tears of laughter was when David said something totally filthy😂

Such a great video. Little Britain was the biggest thing in the UK when this came out, and David Walliams a huge PSB fan. Match made in heaven. Saw Walliams at a PSB concert not long after.

Dear Neil & Chris, every time I see this video or listen to the song I can't stop laughing! A brilliant video that managed to not only capture the Very essence of Pet Shop Boys, but also the lingering zeitgeist of Little Britain - or at least Lucas and Walliams.
Came out in the era of MySpace, Emo fever, RU-vid and Facebook in their "infant" years, video cassettes being in their final grasp, but could've easily come out in 1986-1990. They never lost the 80s touch
Its a long running joke here with Chris Lowe valued his privacy..it was always its Neil and the other one...one comedy magazine called him Ken...they used that name for anyone in a band that kept out of the limelight...

George W Bush was actually the smartest and most courageous leader America has had this century though. His administration liberated 52 million people from tyranny.
