In our pharmaceutical purified water system, the PLC is very important. I depend on the PLC to automatically run and control the entire water treatment process so that every step meets the proper standards. It continuously monitors important things like flow, pressure, temperature and water quality so that the system works the way it should and the water meets FDA, cGMP and GMP standards. It records all of the information so there is a record of everything that happens. The PLC helps me make sure the water is always safe because it eliminates a lot of human error.
