When I see trucking like this it makes me think of how GOD blessed and watched over me trucking for 50yrs an operating everything that moved an drove everything but parkin lot an bed buggin. I started driving a 777 uke gas tanker when I was 16. I was 16 when I got my chauffeurs in 1968. I ran all equipment then drove a coal bucket and trailer an ran the coal mines in 5 or 6 states, pulled flat bed, bulk tank, drop deck an heavy mine equipment wide and heavy. Then about 1978 or 79 ran west coast and northwest all COs reefers, dry box, wedge, bulk tankers an retired with Howard Lisk in Wadesboro NC. RAN muddy mountains pulled in an out of places like you are in also with stick wagon. The harrier it got the better I was by the Grace of GOD. One job I applied for I was told I was over experienced but I just tried to do the best job I could do. I met some great people in 50yrs in 48 states, my name was BLACKJACK. Trucks didn't have air bags or the ones way back didn't so arthritis and trailer whiplash has beat me to death. Keep on trucking boys make sure JESUS CHRIST is number one. 🙏He made me let him out a couple times because I was getting a little to rowdy but he was always waiting on me to pick him back up a little further down the road. 😇 Be safe an make sure THE POWER AND THE GLORY is in the buddy seat and it will be just fine.

Also, by directing the exhaust upwards, it keeps the soot from building up on the trailer, and prevents smaller cars from getting blasted with exhaust (which could happen if the exhaust was directed downward or sideways).

In fact new airline pilots are paid about the same or even less than new truck drivers.My father who owns a trucking company has drivers with bachelor degrees. Some people just enjoy it. In the us, it is law that commercial pilot must be of good moral character. Based on how rude, angry and immature your comments are you don't seem like you should be in a cockpit or even behind the wheel of a semi truck. You are a grown adult bullying a teenager who appears to be substantially smarter than you. I can only assume that you are not happy with your financial status so resort to bullying people. @johno4584
@johno4584 3 года назад
There’s a reason the truck is 25 years old and the other one is new. One didn’t last the other did think that says more than enough about efficiency I’ll take an ol beast with no computer that guzzles fuel like there’s a hole in the tank Over some electrical nonsense that I can’t touch without voiding every warranty under the sun.
@htowndct832

@@johno4584 i’d say that’s more so survivors bias. you don’t see all the trucks that have ‘died’ in the last 25 years, only the ones that remain. new trucks are generally built better since newer tech comes out and we learn how to improve on aspects that may have had a lower quality in the past

@@johno4584 You're really not the brightest, please re read your first sentence. "There's a reason the truck is 25 years old and the other one is new", it can't exactly be 25 years old if it's new? I'm losing brain cells with almost every comment on here fuck me.
@JRtransport379
@JRtransport379 12 лет назад
I'd like to know your reasoning behind that comment.... Low tech is all you can rely on. If its not on the truck, it cannot break (wires, computers, DEF system DPF system etc) NASA even has low tech implace for all of its back up systems. Take a look at the engin used for getting back off of the moon. It used hypergolic fuels for that exact reason-they are low-tech, all that is needed is to turn a valve that separates them and boom, you can get back home. Lookin forward to the replys here
@Senkino5o
@Senkino5o 3 года назад
And now they're talking about cars with all-electric - Non mechanical steering systems, soon as a motor goes or a wire shorts or the battery dies - No more steering. I hope the brakes aren't electric too.

@@Senkino5o don't know how that would even be allowed on public roads. They've had steer by wire for years but it's not legal on public roads with no physical steering connection...for that very reason.

thats why i always say loggers are the real truckers, they arent soy boys concerned about MPG and aerodynamics and fuel efficiency - they want a truck that gets shit done properly and that you can play rough with and it won't blow out the gearbox or throw a rod. older trucks have a hell of a lot more tolerance in their parts because they were made to work and work dependably.

@MammoetFan how is it bad for the environment? it burns LESS fuel than a plastic euro truck would in this scenario, it scores better on those stupid emmisions tests, breaks less (meaning fewer unncessesary miles as well as fewer parts are needed to be manufatured), is durable enough to not require replacement every four years meaning another truck doesnot have to be built to replace it. I could go on with more examples of how this truck is better, but I dont care. Go drive your fugly volvo.

Sad to know that the soy boy generation of today would scrap history like that and still drink their Starbucks coffee that was delivered by trucks like that 🤦🏻‍♂️. Btw, I'm only 39yrs old and appreciate a mechanical engine without all that EGR crap!

I’m 20 and there are plenty of non-soy consuming boys like me that still appreciate the older trucks and cars👍🏿

@celticbobb p.p.s. this rig is one of the lightest and most efficient of its kind, so stuff it and go back to worshiping Obama. p.p.p.s it does better on emissions testing than my tier two emissions truck while burning less fuel.

NIce looking truck. Definitely can tell that you are back east even if you hadn't posted Vassar MB. Here in the west of the US we load the logs on long ways and don't cut them down.

At the end I thought that the trailer was gonna tip over on that left turn. Suppose if the guy swung out a little wider he could’ve missed that mud hole there? At least he didn’t lose that log load at the end though.
