I'm not sure why it's a conversation, they've said that their helped out by their grandkids with their lyrics. The grand kids help with the new slang, and Pete and Bas pop in their older style. And then they mix it together, and form all the songs I've heard it works....Really really well, I think people get lost in the reeds. Is it good yes, is it enjoyable yes.....Then the rest of it doesn't matter.

They clearly have stated they help them with the lyrics. But I do feel the totally collaborate as all producers do.

Im from Denmark Normal i was Only into old School American and danish rap But ren. Pete and bas. Stormzy. And now nine and dex made me into english rap to! These 4 writing style and flow is close to danish rap in the 1990-2007

Dex is Bas and Nine is Pete's family. Nine is Nine One Shots, the guy that produced most of Pete & Bas tracks. Dex is Handsome Dexter, the other producer.

Nine is ninety one shots and dex is Handsome Dexter they have produced almost all of their songs

I like the song and I really like where this is going but I completely agree with your points and think theres a clear difference. I'll have to see more but I don't think they are on the same level as Pete and Bas and while I think they could have helped them write the lyrics and I don't think they are "behind" Pete and Bas.

Bas - "Bite bigger than the bark, big dog · Time ticking on a mark, wrist watch" and Dex - "Gave her the pipe, crackhead - then dipped in the hummers, flatbread" is most certainly very damn close in flow, cadence, and brevity. However, this is 100% bound to happen with co-writers or collaborators. So I think this might even give P&B more credit as they have their own style. Nine and Dex are refreshing to be honest. American rap is falling off. This shit is nice.

Personally I will definitely say I can see the similarities between Dexter and Bas, for obvious reasons. You know if anything with Bas being a music teacher it tracks that those two definitely sound the same even in flow but also maybe Bas is why Dex got into doing what he does with 91, who knows but you can definitely tell the two groups influence each other a lot and they enjoy doing things together and have made a business out of it to where now these two can do their own thing while still helping their granddads. It's actually wonderful to see😊

I think Nine could never pull of Pete's sound. They just helped their grandpas develop flows and adapted them to start rapping themselves. Seems like a natural progression. Far more plausible than those two keeping up that ruse for six years.

They stated in an interview that Pete and Bas write their own lyrics. The grandsons help them with the lingo and produce their tracks. Too many rumor clowns putting stuff out with no facts. Let them cook and enjoy them instead of hating.

It's wild to me the lengths people will go to in order to deny that anyone over fifty is capable of doing something of artistic value. I understand that some artists have ghostwriters, and it's absolutely possible that Pete & Bas do, but the absolute *conviction* some people have that it would be completely *impossible* for Pete & Bas to ever write any of their own songs because "they're just soooo old" is unhinged. If Pete & Bas were putting out the exact same songs but they were 35 years old, nobody would even be asking if they have ghostwriters. But because they're over 60, there's tons of people in every comment sections insisting that they *must* have ghostwriters. It's silly.

Too many people are focused on if this is pete & bas ghostwriters and not enough on how hard the bars go in THIS song. I like pete & bas and nine & dex. I don't care who ghostwrites for who and all that. All this means is we get more heat.

By this point it is pretty obvious that the writing process for Pete & Bas is a collab effort with the producers, but I don't care in the least. The OGs still have to perform those verses and we all know how fire the flows are.

Pete and Bas always said their grandsons (these two) help with making beats and giving some new slang. So it’s even possible that the grandsons did beats, gave some slang, but then Pete and Bas did some ghostwriting got the their grandkids. Just sayin.

I'd like to see Pete and Bas do a collab with their grandkids. The set for the vid looks like the same place that Pete and Bas did Get Low in, in terms of flow and lyrical manipulation I reckon they've bounced ideas off each other to make this absolute banger.

Managed to get the black for £140 in the UK think it was an error on foot patrol as there back to full price now. Recently converted to nb from being practically life long Nike fan. There incredibly light, as comfy as everyone says. I found they come up longer than the other models i have (990, 1906, 610, trail v3) but not enough to warrant sizing down imo. To be honest same as the 990 i wouldn't pay full price, but they are very very good, much better than any Nike I've tried lately and materials and build quality even on regular grs is much better than Nike

So fucking what they have ghost writers. Just enjoy them for what they are! I can tell you don't know HIP HOP. Why Nine and Dex shit is not as hot.

The success of Pete and Bas was initially due to well written viral content, well performed and well produced, but with nicely created characters that eventually had more of a market-appealing gangster persona layered on top. Now, for these guys to make it through with their own material would need not only good writing, production and promotion (proven), good performance (coming along) but also to identify their target market and develop an appealing persona to match. Less sure on that side.

This is 🔥 the flows are different too. These guys are still learning and on the come up. 🔥 first song though can’t wait for more

There cadence is literally exactly the same as Pete and Bas, one for one. The tall one reps Bas the short one reps Pete. And all 4 of them are fucking exceptional 🤝 nice one lads
