I Really liked Pete Carroll as a person and as coach very likeable guy. Bit of a Surprise to me and yes he was a very good coach.

Pete is NOT a paper pusher behind a desk. We will see what happens. I love Pete…really love him. I love watching him sun up and down the field, laughing, yelling, whatever it was…he was SO fun to watch. He also has such a talent for getting the best out of each player, it was great to watch his method work. When they won the Superbowl, my son met the Love of his life…when they both bought Season Tickets next to each other! So it has been a wonderful time.

Why not promote from within if you are gonna keep him? It's gonna be awkward if the new coach takes the team into a new direction and new system. The smoking cigars thing should have been handled by the team captains and not the coaches especially not the HC. I always find it weird when professional athletes smoke even if you don't light it. I don't understand the ceremony of cigars after winning or Championship like the NBA. First of all, it's bad for your health and you get addicted to smoking. Second, why promote something that can hinder your performance? You might as well allow smoking weed or tossing shots if you wanted to celebrate. At least wait til you get out of your work place. Lastly, you have the team paying for all your health and care of your body such as weight training, nutrition, trainers, massages, etc. You are getting paid for top athletic performance in your contract. Living a unhealthy lifestyle seems to defeat the purpose. I wouldn't sign or resign someone and pay him if he was purposely defeating that aim, at least not to a high paying contract.

Firing the head coach that made the Seahawks a relevant football team is a bad look. I doubt they'll get a big name like Harbaugh because the team is in QB purgatory. They could get Quinn, but he's not a great head coach.

The only football coach I know who dominated college with 2-national championships, multiple Rose Bowl rings, goes to the NFL and wins a Super Bowl, he had a great career. He should be chill back and be an executive staff.

Andy, Pete & Bill are all in their 70's. Tomlin is the baby at 51. Even Harbaugh is a youngin' at 61.

Hawks fan here, my favorites for HC are Jim Schwartz or Mike McDonald because the Hawks need to improve the defense. The offense can compete next year with just a couple new linemen.

Without a good quarterback no team is successful any body in football knows that. How many teams would love to have a record like Seattle has had last 14 years. Look at bills fairly good qb. No Super Bowl Lamar no Super Bowl. There are Good hand full of qbs right now , but no where near Super Bowl contention. It takes that special kind coach to bring a lot of talent together. How much real super star talent did bellichuck really have. Why hasn’t Dallas got a Super Bowl with Prescott by now. Look no further than a coach. I’d fire Pete too he’s been way too successful.😊

Pete did a lot of great things in Seattle and he’ll have a statue outside the stadium one day. But it was time. The players didn’t connect with him. His offensive style doesn’t work in the modern NFL. His defenses were figured out 5 years ago. The game passes everyone by eventually, and it passed Pete by a while ago. Now the question becomes “What do the Seahawks want to do going forward?” Do they run it back with Geno and try to bring in Dan Quinn to keep the culture going? I think that’s a bad idea because the culture hasn’t been working since the LOB disbanded. This team needs a new direction in the worst way. I think their best bet is to go after a young up&comer like Ben Johnson in Detroit and try to establish a more modern way of doing things.
