I love that you’re a master of both technical knowledge and musicianship.

Pete I really dig how you’ve made such clean playing so - not stiff. Lots of cats on their advance drop the blues grease as they reach into longer and more informed phrasing. But they lose fire and we all know it when we see it. Those who carry the swagger and fire wherever their minds go. It’s rare - Huff, Lukather, Morse, Gilbert, Landau, Bumble. There is a class. And we’re proud watching you being in that. Keep playing!

Cracking show in the Liverpool Phil, nailed every note from the off! That Suhr Aura looked incredible from where I was sat all the way back in Upper Circle - I was wondering what it was all night. The Led Zep and Aerosmith stuff gave me the chills, what a vocalist!!!

Hi Pete - caught your show last night in High Wycombe, I jumped at the chance to see you play live and in person! I brought my children along hoping to ignite some passion for rock! Mission accomplished. We loved it, and the rock world has two new fans. It makes a world of difference to see a production with talented musicians who have a passion for the songs they're covering. That comes through to the audience. What really impressed me Pete is that your playing came across as if you had created the music yourself, rather than just someone playing someone's compositions. You make them your own - the emotion you put into the playing and and your attention to detail (notes, tones - everything) is astounding. Especially on YYZ, that was a guitar nerd highlight for me 🙂 Also - thanks for taking the time to sign my kid's poster and chat with them - that made the night! You are a class act. Also thanks again for all the time you put into your channel and various forums, social media - for the benefit of the guitar community. It is an immense help to us all! Really enjoyed watching you play in Hull on Sunday. Rig sounded fantastic. To be honest the whole band sounded great to, highly recommend seeing the show.

Stage volume structured around the snare drum is a brilliant way to explain what reasonable, sane stage volume should be! I'll definitly be stealing that turn of phrase.

Theres a lot going on with that rig, but still really straight forward. I have become addicted to going w/d, it just gives everything more space. I came here for some hi res video of that Aura, I stayed for the fantastic sound check clips (particularly the YYZ clip). Safe travels, Pete.

Thanks Pete, the Unobtanium is a fantastic pedal and with the extra switch option we have 3 dirt pedals in 1 and it sounds so good. I can take my pedalboard into any clean amp and I know I have great crunch, rhythm and solo sounds at my feet.
