I love where Peter and Sylar face offm as short as it is...it's like this "battle of the gods" scene from ancient literature, a deity of justice and fire, and one of ice and darkness, battling it out for the fate of the world. Rather like the apocalyptic battles that happen in various mythologies around the world (check Norse and south American folklore for examples). Eh ^^ makes me happy to see Peter finally growing a pair and accepting his role in the universe.
OH right! he did steal the lie-detection power and for some reason never came again into play IIRC... maybe with his father but it has been so long lol
@@Maltor89 Oh man, don't even get me started. There are so many reasons Sylar should have never failed due to the powers he had but the script forgot he had them. It's still my favourite superhero series ever, but I can't ignore the flaws in the writing when an 18 year old girl sneaks up and plants a shard of glass in the back of the head of a guy who can hear a pindrop a mile away. The only excuse for that one is that he was yelling at the time and that's pushing it a bit lol.
@@NineBreakerUIXB Wouldn't he? IIRC he got that lie detector power via Mohinder back when he didn't know Gabriel was Sylar and started introducing him to other EVOs. This future timeline shares that past with main series timeline, which diverged when Sylar got to Claire successfully in the homecoming, prompting Future Hero to deliver the message to Peter in the subway. Peter explodes, media blames it onto Sylar. I think he should have this lie power by now, right?
Don't you think it's so cool to explore Hiro's time travel powers. Like every time Hiro travels back in time the present he left becomes fragile and is no longer the only possibility.
Future Peter could’ve just froze time and ended that fight. But I’m guessing Sylar played with his mind to throw him off, giving himself a fighting chance. I think they both destroyed each other here or the battle was a never ending draw.
Still an awesome scene. Too bad the show went downhill, because Season 1 was one of the coolest superhero dramas. Then Daredevil came along on Netflix.
I know peter has to remember how the person makes him feel to use their power, so he can only use one at a time But if he freezes time can he still use the rest of his powers? If so, season 1 2 and first half of 3 should have been a cake walk for him
Clearly they opted out of that idea at some point since he still has all his powers when he has amnesia. At some point it must have become reflexive, and not tied to remembering them.
I do not think we have seen anybody display two powers at once. Its reasonable to assume that if Peter stopped time and then accessed another ability that time would return to normal.
@@AJsMillions we have seen Peter use 2 powers. When future peter removes peter from Jesse's body, time is stopped by him. Also, Peter was invisible while training with Claude and used his other powers simultaneously with invisibility. Sylar has used 2 powers countless times in the series. An example would be when he stopped the bullet that was about to kill arthur and he detected a lie at the same time.
I am liking season 3 a lot, I think it's awesome.. The only complaint I have is with Meredith.. I could care less about her character, they need to get rid of her to put more focus on others! Hell, even the vortex guy who was in the show only for one episode is more interesting than Meredith :/
Holy crap, I haven't seen a 12 year old comment on RU-vid before. I guess Heroes was still airing at the time you made this. Hey, I'm 12 years from the future, and this show...doesn't end well. Also, invest in Bitcoin.
Sylar isn't related to the Petrelli's in any way shape or form. Angela and Arthur told Sylar that so they could use him as a powerful pawn in their games.
nobody. Nathan isnt dead. Future Peter Shot him because he doesnt want everyones powers revealed to the world because of some future where everyone has powers and something happens like the end of the world or something. ive missed a couple episodes
