As a break from “Paddy’s Golf Tips," I have released a video on my RU-vid channel of a 9-hole head-to-head match between myself and Peter Finch, of @peterfinchgolf, which took place at the European Club in Brittas Bay, just south of Dublin, in which I provide some on-course tips and matchplay strategies.

This was a great video. Padraig was never going to lose, and he showed the difference between a good golfer and a tour professional. I would watch these guys golf again. Padraig was humble and shared tips either way Peter, but also very competitive and did not want to lose.

I watched this on Pete's channel and it was worth and with valuable tips to watch again. I enjoyed all tips from Padraig especially the one regarding going for speed (37:25) with speeding up the arms and not worry about hips. Like most of us on a quest for speed and therefore distance, I loved that part and learning that Padraig had that problem for years and knowing what he achieved so far it gave me hope that I can still get distance and play acceptable in my age using his tips. Thanks, Padraig.

every round and bunker that I’ve hit since watching this video on Peter’s channel… 1) approaching the bunker from the back to pick my aim point 2) I am not good enough of a player to have a bad attitude when a shot doesn’t go my way results, better approach’s onto the greens from the bunker… and lots more $ in my pocket… been winning more because i am getting over the negative thoughts sooner

I was at the range after following Pete’s tips. I reached a point where I was getting through the ball just like his was before. Since then I changed and facing the same issues……. Golf’s hard😂😂😂😂….. as our lives change we change but have to keep keeping the eye on what’s changed because it’ll change something else that effects something else that need’s changing 🤬😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
