He’s right - hitting a few shots without any thought other than hit it at maximum speed for you ( but don’t hit too many balls ) even 10 is too many - I hit 5 and move on - this works
I noticed you seemed to have moved the ball back toward your right foot for the high spinner at the end. Can you elaborate? Love the content by the way. Can’t watch enough! Looking forward to the new series.
How about you take one of your subscribers and take them to 8 handicap Paddy? That would be awesome to prove your points. Love the channel. I hope it grows even more.
Love your videos, guys! My two requests are: 1) I finally got a cheap launch monitor, so how do I use the data to improve my swing 2) Keeping control of your temper on the course - maybe Sergio might watch that one.
I changed to a similar style of cack handed putting to reduce shoulder tension. Golf is one-sided and half the time your putting. ThIs tension release has improved both my putting and long game...additional bonus of mental switch/reset between long and short game due to significantly diifferent grips for each...
Can’t wait. I’m now 68 and have been playing since I was 25. 11 hcp. is lowest I’ve been. Took 10 years out of the game and returned 2.5 years ago. Now playing off of 17 but although my speed has dwindled, its my short game and putting that’s probably cost me most since I came back. My back teeth are long but I’m willing to roll it right back if I have to. Give it to me champ. 👍
Padraig, I appreciate your effort, your talk with Finch, I really really hope you come play in Calgary this year. Hope you collaborate with some others like Bryson, Bryan bros, Horvat.
Mr Harrington. I would love you to come and play our course, Rockliffe Hall Golf and country club, to find out your honest thoughts. Just for me to watch how 6th navigate your way round.
Thank you for this video! I’ve always felt like tee boxes really impact the outcome of my shots and am glad to hear you talk about it! I’d love the “on course alignment” topic to expand to cover wind direction, doglegs, tree lines misaligned with the shot, etc both from the tee box and fairways. So many nuances! Alignment is such a big deal. Thanks for focusing on it!
Can’t wait! Especially looking forward to the putting as I suffer from y**s so much that I’m forced to putt lefty. I would greatly appreciate any guidance on how to recover from this awful plague !!
Boom! I've watched a bunch of Padraig's videos but just subscribed. Same as a lot of you guys that I've been stuck between 12 and 14 for years. I'm in! Usually my big numbers come inside of 100 yards because of my wedge game, but I am open to any type of help.
I must say that Padraig Harrington got the absolute most out of his game. Although Lee Westwood, and Darren Clarke were more naturally talented, Paddy won when it mattered most.
After doing some research I'm starting to realize that many Pros use either counterbalanced shafts or at least high balance point shafts. Are any of your clubs a higher balance point?
“Legacy”?!? Dare I say it Padraig, your words about majors might be true (and God bless, for peace of mind Rory may need ‘n+1’ more than you), but it will be your golf tips. As Yeats *may* have said “teaching is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a flame”! Your record as a multiple major winner will be timeless, but your selflessness in ‘paying it forward’ is immeasurably important too. I first picked up a golf club in my late twenties, but being time poor and a family man I only averaged about one round of golf a year for the next twenty five or so years… until now. Your videos on ‘athletic swing’ have changed all of that, “a terrible beauty is born”! I’ve always appreciated golf’s capacity to carve out time for ‘not working, playing’ moments with others in nature, being humbled by our inability equally to impose our will upon Her and upon a bloody little plastic ball, but it took your tips videos to rekindle the love and memory of my first ‘athletic swing’, of what it felt like to hold a hurley, to swing freely unconscious of the action and be mindful only of the ball and where it was going. Thank you for freeing my aging body from a captive mind to re-embrace *that* freedom through golf and just play for love.
