Yeah, I just love how they did the whole thing. Honestly, the foreshadowing here is crazy too. I still can't believe some people think the lois = pink pewterschmidt twist wasn't planned from the start.
@@hadriandwyer2191 fr but the ending sucked Stewie trauma was handled really poorly but this show was so deep and good to bad the last season sucked and i love how they handed Meg's character growth especially her fusion with Peter I hope we see that fusion again one day
Brian would be perfect for this. It's Seth's natural voice and it fits with the actual Family Guy narrative of Brian being in love with Lois but recognizing that Peter won.
I feel like the narrative here ties into another episode of Family Guy, the one where Stewie prevents his birth then needs to make it happen again. Peter feels that Stewie is what saved his marriage, rather than his own love for Lois and vice-versa. He is now coming to terms with the idea that Lois chose to be with him for Stewie, not for who he is. Thus, when Stewie is grown, the marriage will be over. Or as the song puts it, it is already over, emotionally, she is gone. Edit: Upon rewatching it, I didn't notice the clouds were in the figure of Brian. Damn.
Just a reminder he's voiced by Seth MacFarlane I describe Seth is kinda like "if Frank Sinatra made animation TV shows as his main business and made jazz songs as his side business of his career"
The way pearls mannerisms shine through Peter shows how how much you studied the original piece I got obsessed with this song and animation when it came out and studied each and every frame and you really caught everything! Even the thickness and motion of pearls tear at the end!
@@bamma4 Still pisses me off to this day. Imagine the season 6 we were robbed of, a proper arc to develop the diamonds and homeworld. And it was cancelled because of the wedding iirc.
This is why AI can’t mimic singing properly. In order to mimic a person perfectly you need to know where their upper register is and how that changes their voice. It’s fucking awful sincerely a musician
Stewie, we can't both exist. I'm going to become half of you. And I need you to know that every moment you love being yourself, that's me, loving you and loving being you. Because you're going to be something extraordinary. You're going to be a family guy...
No one is mentioning it so I have to, give the man credit for actually animating a side profile of Peter Griffin 0:47. Solid attempt and I both find myself surprised how well it works, and surprised that I'm almost positive this the first time I've ever seen him drawn from this perspective.
@@prestongarvey5385 Holy shit you're not wrong, it's such a quick shot but it's there. I think my point can still stand, this is a more dramatic shot with a more 3Dish art style, but kudos to you. I never noticed this when watching and it caught me just as hard seeing it on the intro after you pointed it out as when I saw it here. It's a very interesting angle for Peter, shows his proportions more accurately.
@@nickstone3012 you should look up the side profiles they used to do for quagmire really early on when you got the extra minute, they made him look real funny sometimes 💀
Most of the character's side profile are visible at some point during the first few seasons, mainly in the first 12 episodes. As the show progressed towards Computer animation, the use of puppetry for the character models was employed to make animation cheaper and smoother, but at the cost of making the characters more static and less energetic or organic in their movements. This fan animation does a good job employing puppetry to feel more like hand-drawn animation by warping the model at select points, like during transitions from three-quarters perspective to a front facing view, as is visible at 1:00 .

We, are the griffin gems, we always save the day! And if you think we can't, we'll make a cutaway! That's why the people of Quahog believe in Chris, megatron, and peta. and Stewie!
Its the guy from Fortnite 😱 Edit: Wait bro I just realized the suit he's wearing perfectly matches the edit style he has in Fortnite lmao 💀 even the tophat...
@@s1nistr433I'm sorry bro I'm gonna have to disagree, this is still impressive don't get me wrong, but imo the show looks better, there's some shots like when Peter is rotating that it looks a bit rough.
My college professor asked me why I was giggling at my phone in the middle of a lecture and the embarrassment I had to face while explaining I was watching Peter Griffin sing a song about losing the person he loved. You would not believe me when I say that she showed it to the whole class and we were all laughing our asses off.

It's hilarious to think this could totally fit into the show, with the episode where Peter and his friends get lost in sea and Lois ends up being with Brian. Would've made the episode a solid classic if it had this musical number!
@@KaosDeathLordI’d argue that FG’s animation is lazy, but looks fine. This video’s animation tries, very hard, but there are a few less than stellar scenes.
For people who don't know, this scene is based on steven universe, where pearl (peter) sang about her feelings to rose (steven's mom), while steven (stewie) is looking at her (him)
Also you should remake this with a Brian singing it. I know Peter has the higher voice and that's probably why you chose him, but after listening to the Frank Sinatra cover, the song fits surprisingly well with a deeper tone.
