Für Ausstellung "PETER LINDBERGH / GARRY WINOGRAND: WOMEN ON STREET" (03.02. - 30.04.2017) im NRW-Forum Düsseldorf traf Ralph Goertz, Kurator der Ausstellung, Peter Lindbergh in seinem Studio in Paris und sprach mit ihm über die Ausstellung, Modefotografie, Garry Winogrand und die Besonderheiten der Street Photography. I do think he is a big inspiration for many young photographers. I personally see his work with an eye of a men that can't get enough of young women do what he wants them to do. His portrait photos look all the same, their faces tell all the same story. He did not grow in his entire working life. He still does the same work he did 30 years ago.

Man sollte im Bereich Mode- Fotografie keine zu hohen Ansprüche haben. In diesem Genre sind bedeutende Fotos Mangelware.

I made a playlist with some Documentaries about Lindbergh. O found only the Trailer of "womens stories". I think you will have to buy or rent the whole film ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DrUUqrKyD1I.html

Today I have seen his photo exhibition "From Fashion to Reality" in Munich. Peter Lindbergh is an grandmaster in his art and he created a an outstanding body of work. I highly recommend seeing his exhibtion in reallity. Really awesome and a great inspiration for anybody interested in photography, fashion or art.
