But Tinubu, an Osun man born in Osun, could be governor of Lagos State, right? El Rufai, a Kastina man born in Kastina, is also the current governor of Kaduna State, right? Who has been the mobilizer for Peter Obi's movement in Sokoto? Is it not the same guy? Who else has volunteered his/her time and resources to the movement like him in that locality, without asking for any reward? So the problem now is that his name is not indigenous? Let's be Frank, people from the north will not understand what okukpe is saying at all. Whether we like it or not, they will have a twisted feeling about it and infact those who are not supportive of Peter Obis candidacy, will use it as a tool to discredit his candidacy, whether it is the right thing or not. It is better to use indigenes as campaign coordinators, especially for the core northern states. This is not the time to start practicing such balanced politics. We need to win an election first.
These coordinators have been working for the past 3 months, mentioning their names is just formalizing it. They have been using their resources and going to villages to sell labour party and Peter obi to the villagers . Should they now be removed to accommodate people who don't even know anything about the campaign and who may not contribute much just to accommodate the zones.
