I watched my DVD of this film on a weekly, often _daily_ basis from the year it was released to about 2008. I rewatched it last night and it moved me beyond words to see it again, how meticulously this fairytale was put into the frames of this film. A perfect film to grow up with, and I hope to pass that on. Regarding the dilemma the children are facing in the story, I would've been happy to know my children got to live in a place of eternal youth and happiness, but some say the children were too adjusted to the path they were on in growing up and taking on adult responsibilities.

My little niece got so jealous of Wendy when Pan kissed her that she said she wanted Wendy to die and I was like HOLD UP and had to correct her thinking lmao I mean she is almost 6 lol then I realized at that moment how big of an impact Jeremy’s pan was to generations of girls and even boys. Just For that Jeremy is the best Pan that will probably ever exist. That’s some shoes to fill and the new Pan that just came out doesn’t even remotely come close to that. Why do remake if you can’t even hold a candle up to Jeremy’s Pan?

I like the movie but there's things that are not that accurate. I didn't care for the Aunt for instance and I sense what they were aiming with Wendy being Red Handed Jill instead of John but that whole thing seemed Hollywood to me and it is not in the book. Also what was the deal with the Black Castle? Is the history of it like Marooners Rock but less dark?
