A prayer like that from your heart to God will get you saved as long as you understand that Christ died for your sins, was buried, and after 3 days and 3 nights he rose again from the dead and whosoever believeth (trust or rely completely) in him should not perish in Hell but have everlasting life in Heaven. Admit your a a guilty sinner to God and ask Jesus to save you- Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners!

Dr. Ruckman was introduced to me in 1996 shortly after I received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I thank God for giving me the best Bible teacher on planet earth!!! Can't wait to see him again.
Yeah he was a great blessing and soldier for kjv and Bible doctrine, atleast he was recorded throughout his ministry so there are many audio and video recordings that still bless us!
Deuteronomy 14:26 the verse Dr. Ruckman doesn't bring up and there are more but his personal beliefs were more important than what the Bible says, and the love of money over his books being put on the internet for free.
Sober, serious message Dr. Ruckman. Thank you for your stories Dr. Ruckman. 🙏 Makes me thankful that my family and I never got hooked on liquor. God can help anyone. HE can save people but the bottle probably will be the most challenging thing in life for drunkards to get over. It's substance is a lie and if one can avoid it Praise God.
I was a teenage party drinker and later became more than weekends. Got a dui when I was about 18. Saw my father and uncle and grandfather drink so just thought it was OK. Boy was I wrong, it had a dominating effect on my life for a few years but thank God after I got saved Jesus got me completely off it in year or two and it has now been about 37 years without it. I don't miss it. It only made life much harder. So glad the Lord saved me and has kept me off it! Praise Jesus!
I have a son who's hooked on the bottle and booze I tried to help him for like 3 months the last time had him living with me and just got worse and worse no matter how much money I gave him in his work with me by the morning he was broke whether it was $200 $300 came 1100 gone came another 200 another three then I went to 350 dollars nothing is enough for these people even my own son and looking back on it now I tried to help but the bottle got such a hold on him that as a matter of fact this morning I found an empty half pint of vodka stashed up above the cabinet empty and he was working with me doing good but you started hanging with the wrong people and we had a falling out and then he stole from me it's sad what alcohol can do to you it's tore apart more families and then at least the drugs and workman's right tossed that s*** down the f****** drain
Will try to put your son on prayer list on prayer meeting we have. I was a teenage drunk with dui getting drunk at times to the point of not remembering what happened or how I got home. But thank God when I was about 20 my roommate at college led me to Christ and things started to change because I was a new creature in Christ. Been off alcohol by God’s grace for over 30 years now. Still a dirty dog of a sinner but God has helped me not to return to the bottle. For me getting saved was the key that gave me power to change. If you can get ahold of Carl Hatch’s salvation testimony it could be an encouragement to keep praying. God bless
Also preaching Jesus wine wasn't Alcohol because your personal beliefs are more important is a sin and the marriage feast and the village would equal a lot of people.

Preaching a stumbling block is just as bad or worse than stumbling in front of a brother, GOD gave instructions on how to make wine by putting it in new bottles.
This is just like pastors who wants the sinner be converted at Church how many times have you heard him say "do it at home just do it " none is how many times.
GOD also requires to bring wine with the sacrifice just a little leaven is all it takes like Dr. Ruckman threats of a lawsuit against a brother for putting his books on the internet for free.

We are in the NT- Hebrews 9:27. New Testament commands be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess, but be filled with the Spirit. Adultery upgraded from actual act looking to lusting in your heart. Murder from actually killing to being angry without a cause. Anyway proverbs says don’t look at the wine. Sort of hard to drink something you can’t look at. It is a two edged sword, if want an excuse God will give you some verses to “prove” your error. Anyway not sure what your comment was for, but if it was to prove drinking or drunkenness is ok or was ok, there are more verses than just Deuteronomy? God bless
Did you not hear his humble prayer after that powerful message, where he pleaded with God to get ahold of those that struggle with addiction and who have prayers from loved ones lifted up continually? How does that illustrate a man who doesn't understand where salvation comes from? I hear/read the negative accusations of this man whom I have only recently discovered by the grace of Almighty God and I mourn. Oh how my life could have been more pleasing to my Lord Jesus Christ if I had been exposed sooner to this style of Biblical based preaching, but I question not; in your time oh Lord...in your time because your will for my life is perfect!
