I know you probably won't even see this... But really want to tell you how much this track means to me... it found me in a phase, in which I was really having negative and suicidal thoughts... And instantly, as if some kind of magic, this song always tried to heal me in some way... Till to this day, I listen to this whenever I feels uneasy or if I want to take rest... It's been 2 months since I left my home in Canada to do an exchange year in Switzerland, which was my first time leaving North America. After 8 months of just trying to get the opportunity, facing great challenges, I finally did it. I was so happy to be alive, and on that plane. I was going somewhere with my life that I wanted to go. I heard this song for the first time in Season 3 of Stranger Things, and I explored more of Peter's music. Then it came back in Season 4, Part 2, which was a month before I left. Now this song is a symbol of hope and strength in my life. I listened to it on the plane as I left, crying because I was so happy, so this song truly helped me. When I need comfort, I often come back to it. Thanks Peter

this hit me on a whole new level

My interpretation of this video.. It starts with her waking up. She’s born. She stretches out, feeling curious and excited ready for the world. Her body is flowing easily, her mind like a sponge. As the song progresses she realises the clock is ticking, at first she doesn’t mind ,but soon realises that she doesn’t like it. She looks across at the younger, innocent version of herself panicked. She starts to try and unwind the clock. The more she tries the more she realises that time will continue. She grabs at her body, she is distressed by the change, what she is learning about the world and herself. She panics more flailing around, scared. She itches and cries and panics. After losing the fight with time she finally gives up. Looking at her younger self she is finally at peace with who she has become.

how does it feel such a great show featuring your song in one of the most important scenes? very emotional track, love it

I love that this song is in two very emotional scenes from Stranger Things, last episode of S3 🥺 and last episode of S4 🥹

As a person with anxiety disorder, I often struggle to explain to people what a panic attack feels like. The feeling and experience is almost unexplainable. I have never been able to find something as strikingly accurate as this music/video is. As I was watching, I couldn’t help but feel all of the things she was feeling, because it was so real, and I feel the same pain that she does. And the end where she is watching herself breakdown is the best part, because I often try to explain to people how when you are experiencing a panic attack, you basically have to wait it out and watch yourself go through it until it ends. It’s like your consciousness is separated from your body and you can’t control what you do anymore. I am so grateful to have found this masterpiece, as I now have something beautiful to compare my experience with anxiety to.

Who ever disliked this video has no idea what beauty is. Or any form of art. This is pure art and beauty, I’m crying. ❤️

This Soundtrack has hit me like a bus. Never ever did something in a movie or a series move me so hard. Like, literally I am shaking and crying to this scene like a little boy losing his pet. The sound, the letter, the acting. Everything in this scene is so awesome but dude, this soundtrack is the most important part of this whole scene in my eyes (or ears). Thank you man.

I am not here because of Stranger Things. I am here because I watched a random video of a swimmer being approached by a family of orcas in New Zealand and I loved the background music. I used Shazam to find the artist. I found Peter. And then I found this. And I am completely transfixed, stunned and emotional. There's so much beauty here, so much war, so much peace... All at the same time. This all just happened today, I'm so looking forward to tomorrow to discover everything this man has done.

Deep, emotional and Wonderful

this was literally what i wrote as i was listening to this song: "Just keep another child" (yes i'm the original, don't read it, some grammar mistakes but it's whatever). I was born, just not the right day. 15 years pass, there’s a lot to say. Whenever I’m down, I want to cry. There’s so many things that kill me, and I don’t why. Maybe because I’m stupid, maybe I am dumb. I’ll only continue this though, until my head goes numb. Yes, there are many things that are unexplainable, but that doesn’t give me a reason to bring pity around the table. Nobody cares, nobody cries: they only do this once they die. I don’t mean my parents, I mean my own life. For it doesn't matter, to those who treat it like a knife. I want to stay strong but something’s blocking me: it’s fear, I already know it and it’s not good for me. Look, I just rhymed me with me: I knew it and I told you I was bad at poetry. Okay, that doesn’t count, now back to the subject. Deep down, I always feel I need to be what parents regret. Children, it is, it really is: or for me, what’s the point of life if I’m not a normal sis? Perfect and better is always the competition in family. If you describe me as “perfect”, then that’s not the right me. The right me should be normal, understanding, collaborative, communicative, and something else, like a girl. The wrong me is where I was born into the very wrong world, with upside downs, and no turn backs, and I have nothing to rhyme with this. Hm, that’s okay, because that can hurt me each time: each time I don’t come up with a rhyme. So if that’s all I can really say and be mild about it, parents, I have a suggestion and idea for: just keep another child. I don't know if this made sense, it's just what I was thinking in my head because something was bothering me so I wrote this to myself. hopefully i get better ❤
