do they accept a straight transfer of btc or do they make it easy yo liquify btc to cash and then you pay with that cash? and which restaurant is this if you dont mind saying?

@@ChazZen Theres a few places here that accepts bitcoin like a hotel, brewery and a couple bars that I know. You just do a wallet transfer theres no cash involved. The restaurant I did it at is called oyster and chop in Auckland. Also some home owners here have accepted bitcoin as payment for their homes

Schiff must REALLY be worried about BTC... lol he's been out there lately bashing it everywhere! If it "makes no difference to him" like he professes, why does he talk about it SO much??? Obviously because it costs him GOLD sales... keep talking Peter, it makes me even MORE sure of BTC!!! And BTW... GOLD IS huge for him, he owns a company that sells it, come on Peter, we're not as stupid as you seem to think we are!

He's right about bitcoin. He just doesn't know why he's right. Going with his gut i guess. Bitcoin was only intended as a proof of work for blockchain. It's just a prototype. And look what it's become out of sheer greed, avarice. Look at what they've done with it. It's horrid. Just keep a look out for what comes in to replace it. Think: If Bitcoin is the alpha release what will the gold release look like. That's the one you want to jump in on. You know like Palm Pilot -> iPaq -> iPhone -> x.x 8track -> Cassette -> CD -> DVD -> x.x You get the gist. Next time ask Schiff the he'd hate to have to answer the most the no one asks him. "Peter how manipulated is the gold spot, who's suppressing it why do you never speak on it ?" More likely than not he'll pretend to not hear the question. Get Peter Schiff back on and sneak GATA chairman Bill 'Midas' Murphy in to surprise him in discussion and watch Peter Schiff just melt, lmao.

Bitcoin is as much a scam as gold is. Or the USD. The only reason any of these hold real value is because people _think_ they have value. So, BTC can of course have value if enough people are convinced it is, in fact, valuable. Yes yes yes I know gold has cool material properties. That doesn't mean jack to the average person. The only value of gold to the average person is "shiny metal".

At least you can’t make more gold. You can make an infinite amount of cryptocurrencies. The only reason crypto was doing good is because gambling is the only way for people to fight inflation ironically.

@@undergroundsubway7023 I guess? But this is why I'm a BTC maximalist. It's too late - there's only room for one (maybe two, for utility) cryptos to be lent credibility. Similar to the way the USD is the most credible currency in the world, because everyone expects that they can spend a USD somewhere. At some level it's all made up. You can at least choose the made-up story with the most utility.

Their shtick isn’t just that. It’s “you’re buying security” gold is supposed to promise you a way out of a pinch like a fire extinguisher or a gun does. Gold is for trade in case of societal emergency… but hardly a priority for such times. It’s a wealthy preppers’ “nice to have”. If shit goes down, you’ll be avoiding people for a long time.

Sorry, I believe Bitcoin is essentially a Ponzi scheme and won't succeed in the long run. Governments and central banks will never support its success, as some imagine. While it would be great to have alternatives, reality will dictate otherwise. However, if you find opportunities to profit from or benefit from alternative investments now, you should take advantage but always remain realistic about future prospects.

Gold is about as useful as bitcoin for investing. It is a store of anxiety about the state of the economy and finance. Many people today prefer the bitcoin store of anxiety.
