My family is staunchly Republican and we have no problem with gay people. We do business with gay people and we welcome gays into our home with open arms.

I always thinked Peter Thiel was a Libertarian since he has always had does ideals. I first saw this on 60 Minutes, but its good to know he is also is a Republican and I am happy he has come out as Gay
Thiel chooses major tax breaks for the wealthy over civil rights for all Americans...and his being gay doesn't mean a damned thing to him the way it does to the really proud gay American men...like me!!!
Yes. I'm proud to be gay just like you're obviously proud to be straight. The fellow Peter Thiel making the speech here isn't proud of anything but wanting to protect his wealth and supporting Donald Trump who will do that for him...though Trump won't get elected. Trump is for rich white wealthy people...not the common people like me, whether we're straight or gay. So...get a grip on reality...and lets use our stiff ones to the natures of who we are...I honestly don't care about personal sexual identity, but I am not ashamed of who I am...ever.

If I hear one more tech overlord tell me they have "the vision" for America, I swear... Building rockets and social networks is all great, but when you mention those things in a political speech before discussing the imperative for clean water infrastructure in Flint, it shows how disconnected you are. I seriously wonder the last time Peter Thiel has spoken to someone in the bottom 90%. Does the average person really believe more rocket trips to outer space for billionaires is going to create the economic spark necessary to usher us into Enlightenment 2.0? Or maybe we can attempt to regulate the corporate sector before bailing it out with trillions of dollars of freshly printed money?
He talks about Hilary as being incompetent, but really? We had a gigantic incompetent liar and an insurrectionist! Does he feel the same way now or during the Trump term?
A lot of the speech here fell flat. Peter tried to be someone who isn't in this speech, and it was obvious. He isn't naturally charismatic, and failed there. He is more of thinker/intellectual and has more impact playing that role. Disappointed in this speech honestly.

CLENS MAN---Who am I? I am not pretty. I am not a turnip. I live in reality. I'm not lost on a rich man like Trump attempting to get my vote by offering me the ill favors of a wealthy HOMOSEXUAL man. There will be plenty of white Christian conservative voters try to elect Trump believing he will take down gay rights...that won't happen...too late. And both parties also won't change anything about gun laws or abortion laws...too late on those too...so they no longer qualify as real voting issues...those haven't changed in decades. Trump is for rich white people and will even use a well known HOMOSEXUAL man to get votes...and do it right in front of the faces of conservative Christians who can't see the forest for the trees! And the conservative Christians are going for this! It's insane! ...OK. Enough about me...what about you?
