I love how real musicians, and genuine artists, embrace and appreciate all forms of music, all types of instruments, and collaborate with talented musicians, from around the world.
I saw Peter tosh and the world sound and power band in London at the dominion theater in London 1983 with my brother Phill and he's mate Ian very good gig and a nice night out nice one one love long live the bush doctor
@@marcus_4199 Peter Tosh became King of Reggae after Bob Marley's Death in 81 however Tosh was always The King of Reggae 🇯🇲🎼🎶🎼. Tosh's music is Revolutionary their's not another Reggae Star that can match Peter Tosh's music.
First time this song is hitting my ears since I started listening to Toshs music in 1989 when I mistakenly thought that it was Lucky Dube who did Lords of Lords, that was the beginning of a serious disease, reggaemylitis
Wow.... All I can say is wow. I knew Peter Tosh had much more music than what is out there. Thanks for sharing. I'm going to learn this on my bass guitar.
Don't you recognize them? They are known as the Tamlins ...they have their own recordings...they did a rendition of Baltimore ....some of the best backup singers of many reggae artists
@@jamesohara4686 NO OBEAH. NO SELL OUT. HOLY MAN AND THE MIGHTY PROPHET MARCUS GARVEY REINCARNATED. MY CHANNEL. HE IS ST PETER BORN AGAIN. HE IS MOSES. DO YOU REMEMBER MOSES, ELIJAH, JEREMIAH AND JOHN THE BAPTIST. TODAY HE IS SIZZLA.
Thank you so very much for this posting! If you only could post more of these studio sessions so please? Aaww... Peter Tosh was good, better, best of all. So talented, so sweet.. it's terrible, horrible that Peter got murdered so long before his time was due. My absolute favorite.. Peter..rest in peace bredren!
I said this in a reply to someone lower down, but thought I needed to say it again up here....; I believe Peter Tosh and Word, Sound and Power were the pinnacle of music, not just Reggae, but music. The message he gets across in his music and the particular strain of reggae music they all create to me is the best use of music I can imagine, to teach and teach through that chunky funky sound! And I don't mean a chronological pinnacle, I mean, music being used to the upmost potential!
