Is this quite possibly near Tiffin, Ohio?scenery looks very very familiar actually to a early morning one time heading up that way for a XC invitational during September of 2023.
For us CAT all the way! We bought 4 389s with cummins motors and each one had to be rebuilt before 200,000 miles because of all of the emissions crap. We had 6 2002 trucks with the CAT C15 6NZ that didn’t get rebuilt until around 1.5 million miles. So now when we get new trucks we have been buying gliders with a 6NZ. More expensive that way but man they sure do last so much longer so in the long run it hopefully will pay off. Not sure if everyone has had that luck with new cummins motors but that’s what happened to us on all 4. Unfortunately the government is starting to really restrict production on gliders and becoming harder to get one. Oh yeah, and they can’t go in California.
Clearly a Cat due to the big torque at low RPM... resulting in less wear on the engine due to the fact it's usualy working in Low Revs. Cummins engines like the higher RPM => more wear on the engine. And from what i know the Cats are solid and very reliable engines. If i had to choose a Cat for sure.
